Mi Cocina

We are regulars at several locations across north Tx. The colony location is one of our favorites. Charles, Roger and their staff are exceptional. We always feel as though we are guests in their home. The product (food) is consistent, the service and staff keep us coming back. They even remember my wife’s son from when he was a baby eating salsa in a hi-chair at lakeside. This location continues to raise the service bar.. absolutely worth a stop if you are in the area.

This is by far my favorite Mi Cocina location! As a parent of two small kids, this is the best location to come and enjoy the patio on a Friday night while you let your kids play outside. Damien, our server last night, was awesome and surprised my son with a soft dessert after he heard he just got his tonsils out. Angie, the manager, and her staff went above and beyond to accommodate our growing party last night. Overall, great experience!

Love coming here! The patio is great even has a fireside table setting the mood! Domingo was our server and was attentive even recommended a margarita I hadn't tried before! Roger, the manager, checked on us a few times which we appreciated! Cant go wrong with The Colony Mi Cocina!

My wife and I love this place and this location in particular. It has a great bar and the service is wonderful. The Mambo Taxi is my favorite drink.

The bar crowd is always lively and fun. Lots of lovely people and very chatty. I recommend it for a casual date night with your special someone.

We’re at Mi Cocina again, haven’t been back in a while. The staff is like family, one of our favorite servers Rob asked us why we haven’t been by in a few weeks. He knows we come in weekly. Love this location, the food and the staff! They have great attention to detail especially Rob, we love Rob.

We love coming to Mi Cocina. We get VIP service all the time, we feel like part of the Mi Cocina family. They have prompt friendly service. Roger, the manager is always ready to great you with a smile & a handshake. The food is always great. Awesome service.
