“Went the other day and had the buche tacos. They were delicious. I go to the one in Juarez often and I must say I might not need to go to Juarez as much anymore. Only thing that would make it perfect is if they put the bowl with the Pico de Gallo and salsa like they do in Juarez. But in their defense they gave me more every time I asked. Lol”

“I visited Peter Piper Pizza with my family for lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with a game room that had a variety of games for different ages. The service was decent, but not very attentive or friendly. We had to wait a long time for our order to be ready. The pizza was okay, but nothing to write home about. The crust was thin and crispy, but the cheese and toppings were bland and greasy. The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked. The drinks were refillable, but the ice machine was out of order. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food and games, but I expected more quality and flavor. Overall, Peter Piper Pizza was an average experience for us. We had some fun, but we were not impressed by the food or the service. I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars rating.”

“MILITARY DISCOUNT!!!🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑💰💰💰💰💰 Tried the new Taco Tote on Eastlake. I've never been to a TacoTote so first time visitor. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and answered a number of questions that we had. We opted for the family of 4 dinner with chicken and steak. We sat down and decided to start with some chips and salsa. The salsa bar had a ton of different flavors and spice level. My biggest complaint is the size of the paper dish that is used to hold the chips, too small. I opted to use a plate so we could get enough chips for the family. The chips were pretty good and freshly made. Once our food arrived we shared the meat and tortillas. I had a baked potato which was pretty good. Dad had the squash and cheese soup, which turned out to be way to spicy for him. I was able to swap it for a baked potato at no extra charge. The meats was really good and had a great flavor to it. The tortillas were fresh and really good. We got Xtra sour cream from the staff. Overall, great meal, especially for the price. We had some leftovers to take home. The meal fed the family of four for under $50.00. It was cold outside, but there is a really cute outdoor seating area too.”

“I'll love to share the pros first then the cons after as there are many cons after all. My husband and I tried the restaurant and then went back again that's a plus in my book. (I'll actually include photos of both visits.) My husband really loved it here and that matters the most to me. I know he isn't picky and this place is great for that. Though I do enjoy that you can sort of choose/build what you want too so you can make it unique and to your liking. The food is 5 starts no doubt, flavor, temperature. Price is maybe 3-4 stars as it can be a tad pricey but if it is once and a while type of deal no harm. It was delicious and filling. They also have snacks there like turtle chips or in case you just want their yummy mandoo because believe me that is super good and my husband and I bought extra the second time to share. My first time trying it I wasn't the biggest of fan but I learned. I did not ask if I could taste anything first but if you want to try asking I totally would at least like the noddle's or sauces. I am not the biggest fan of the noddle's myself but the following time I went I changed it to just rice, cabbage, veggies and the yummy chicken. So you learn and make change is what I say. So that's enough of the good I am gonna share some of the bad now and maybe it is not something that will really bother you but I felt super bad myself. If you follow my reviews you know I am a plump/heavy gal and I do enjoy eating at the restaurants but this is just not one I could enjoy. I do not like sitting at high tops at all. It's just super uncomfortable. I thought luckily they have the smaller chairs in the middle but nope. NOPE. NO. I couldn't stand the chairs maybe they are durable but the feeling of them sliding down is a no, no for me. It scared me and I started to tear up a bit. My husband was like let's go its fine but I wanted him to enjoy his food in the restaurant. None the less we did not stay inside. We had to eat in our car. There is a bench outside but it was super cold that evening. That's really my only negative is the seating is not comfy to me, and maybe the price is a little much but I can look past the second. (photos: 4 pictures posted first are the second go)”

“Simply the best sandwich experience I've had. As a vegetarian I was skeptical of trying anything here until a friend put me on the Dave's NOT chicken. I'm glad I trusted them. Now, as the only one in El Paso it will be crowded 24/7. But for good reason. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes but it's producing the best sandwiches, sliders, and fries I've ever had. There's not much customer service besides ordering at the counter since it's very crowded, but they are very accurate with your orders (I'm guilty of large orders) Enough said, get yourself a sandwich already, I promise you won't regret it.”

“First time we came to Charley’s and we tried the buffalo Classic wings and they were great! The sauce it’s pretty spicy but good! And they were fully covered in sauce! Not like other places where they barely dip them. The guy at the counter was super friendly!”

“I came here for the first time and had the best experience! I’ve been wanting to try them for a while and was not disappointed. Mayra helped me out and made my visit so amazing! There were a few things I didn’t know about certain bowls and Mayra kindly took the time to explain them to me (as I’ve never had an açaí bowl before). She was so patient and kind and I could tell that she really put effort and care into her work. The bowls were great but even if they weren’t I would come back for the great customer service alone! Thank you!”

“Shout out to David Lopez and the entire team at the Eastlake Panda Express. We ordered for pickup. Once we got home, we were missing 5 out of the 6 chicken egg rolls. I called to complain and request a refund because we were starving and didn't want to deal with Eastlake traffic. Rather than issue me a refund, they offered to bring us the missing items!!!! I was blown away by this as most other restaurants just take your name and tell you to return another day for a do-over. Thank you again David. This tired, hungry and working mama appreciates you!”

“This was my first time to this McDonald's. The restaurant was very clean and the food was good. I was surprised that I was the only customer choosing to dine in. During my 35 min in the store maybe about 14 customers came in to pick up pre orders or order and leave. Also, there were quite a few cars going thru the drive thru. I guess the pandemic has had a big impact on people's dining habits. I still prefer to dine in, but found out not too many people favor it any mode. :-(”

“Let me start by saying I could tell everyone was pretty new here, so the rating isn’t as low as I would have probably rated if they had been around for long time. I will definitely try again next time I’m in town to give it another chance and update the review. Here is why Sushi Freak only gets three stars for now… Pros: Cute little sushi eatery that is aesthetically pleasing. It is pretty roomy, even for being a little crowded when we were there. The staff, albeit seemed pretty new, were very friendly and seemed to be really trying. My husband enjoyed his roll, he got the New Mexican Roll. Cons: I got the Crunch Roll (a typical roll at most sushi restaurants). I was not impressed for a couple reasons, the first being that the seaweed was tuff, which is typically a sign of it not being as fresh as it should be. Secondly the panko crunch had an odd flavor, it seemed either old or maybe left out too long? The egg rolls tasted like any frozen egg roll and wasn’t bad, just wasn’t something I would order again. As shown in the photo, the ginger was scarce, literally two small pieces were put on my tray. Lastly, the tray itself had a film on it, like it was washed but then dried with a dirty towel, and since there were a lot of people in line, I believe they were rushing so the plating was quite messy. I reiterate, I believe a lot of this is due to new employees learning, especially could tell this in the cashier who was having some issues and being trained. I would absolutely come back to give a second chance once a bit of the newness wears off.”

“I walked into the small pizza shop in Horizon, Texas, and was immediately greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked pizza. The interior was clean and unassuming, with a few tables and chairs scattered around the room. As I approached the counter to place my order, I noticed a small sign advertising the option to have your pizza made right in front of you - a unique feature that I had never seen before. I decided to give it a try and ordered a pepperoni pizza, requesting that it be made fresh in front of me. The friendly staff quickly got to work, rolling out the dough and adding the sauce and toppings right before my eyes. It was fascinating to watch the process and see the care and attention that went into every step. Once my pizza was ready, I took a seat and took a bite. It was delicious - the crust was crispy and chewy, and the cheese and pepperoni were perfectly melted and flavorful. While the pizza was admittedly a bit small, it was still filling and satisfying. As I ate, I couldn't help but notice the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the shop. The staff members were all smiles, chatting with customers and making everyone feel at home. It was clear that this was a place where people came not just for the food, but for the experience. As I finished my meal and prepared to leave, I felt grateful to have stumbled upon this hidden gem of a pizza shop. While it may not be the biggest or most well-known pizzeria in El Paso, it certainly holds its own when it comes to taste and quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and unique pizza experience in the Horizon area.”
