Brick & Mortar Kitchen

Have always highly enjoyed this restaurant. The decor is whimsical and beautiful. There are stained mirrors in the entry hallway on the ceiling and the walls and the whole theme seems to be an elegant masquerade/ circus. Very comfy seating and with the lights dimmed it feels romantic. I've loved every dish. The cuisine is a mixture of Cajun, American and comfort food. From the ribs appetizer to the salmon dish, the burgers with truffle oil and the crazy good bourbon brownie, can't go wrong. Have had good service here.

Had a nice dinner here with my parents. The menu was not very large, which I appreciated. It made it easy to pick a meal, and it usually means that the kitchen is better prepared to focus on doing a good job on a few dishes instead of just mass produced food of all varieties. The wine list was good not great, but that seemed to fit well with the food menu. my parents absolutely loved it.

Amazing ambiance, comfy chairs, all waiters and managers were attentive and courteous.

Food was superb. The stuffed mushrooms were perfectly fried and had quality crab and shrimp stuffing. Remoulade was thick creamy and we'll seasoned.

I had the lamb chops which were cooked medium rare. A tad salty but it went well with the tomato and couscous. Also tried the southwest salad which had too much dressing but was good otherwise.

There is small dim bar and dining area that had a live jazz music band which set a really good mood.

Me and my girlfriend randomly came here after a movie at the palladium and I'm sure glad we did. This is definitely a great date place or somewhere to frequent if it's in your budget. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Delicious food, Impressive service, and Exceptional hospitality!

I made a reservation for a bridal party luncheon for the day after Christmas. I confirmed the reservation the day before, but then on the day of the reservation I asked if I could move up the lunch by an hour. The hostess was the same one I had spoken with when initially reserving the lunch time and confirming the reservation, and she was exceptionally pleasant and kind and made it work so that we could come in early. I arrived early to get the table and a few appetizers ordered before the rest of the party arrived. I was helped by a few different people and must say every single worker had a smile and such a friendly disposition. Every. Single. One. The rest of the party came and every one enjoyed their meal. The food was truly delicious! They even gave a drink to the bride on the house! To everyone at Brick and Mortar- y'all have no idea how awesome a memory we have now because of your service! Thank you for helping the bridal party enjoy the last day with the now bride!

Atmosphere was great.... Food was outstanding... TERRIBLE SERVICE. What a bummer. The manager came by at the beginning of dinner to see how things were and I was impressed by that. But it was after the fact that our server just stopped showing up. He did not give us several things we needed. So frustrating, especially when you have hungry kids. The kids had Mac and cheese. It was delicious:) The Everything salad with grilled chicken was AMAZING. We will go back and hope that server is not waiting on us! Other than the server, it was great!
