Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

I went with my best friend for an afternoon. It was the neatest experience! Food comes by your table on a conveyor belt for you to choose from, or you can order special picked food from a screen at your table and it arrives a few moments later ready to eat. We tried many different options. If your looking for a place with great food and atmosphere, try Kura.

The concept is fun and familiar now: a conveyor sends a continuous stream of plates past your table from which you select your dish. Nigiri passes by, then rolls, for example, then desserts. You pay based on the number of plates you take.

Kura adds a convenient screen from which you can order whatever dish you want. A few minutes later, your dish comes whizzing out on a separate conveyor belt, stopping at your exact table. You can get regular dishes without waiting forever for that dish to appear from the random circulating belt. You can also get things like soups, which don't circulate.

Overall, there is a very large assortment of dishes that circulate, and hundreds that you can order. We've visited several times, and the food was always fresh and appealing to look at and eat.

I'm giving this 4 stars, because the circulating conveyor mainly presented empty dishes. One of our orders from the screen took 10 minutes after a 3 minute estimate. The food itself was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. No fault there. I wish I could give 4.5 stars, but I cannot and this wasn't a perfect experience.

food quality is really good! the setup is so cute and the pricing is awesome. lots of variety and very quick and friendly staff. definitely will come back again.

The food is great! Environment and atmosphere are very relaxed. Just know if you come in between meals the selection on the belt will be slightly less, but you can always order off the screen so it's not a big deal! I always enjoy my experience there!
