Appetizers were good but the hot pot was only soso. Not worth $16 per pot.
Amazing food! Everything was great and soups were so tasty! If you haven't tried Dipped, you're missing out!
We finally got to try out this place for the first time and the food was delicious!! We ordered the popcorn chicken, fried mushrooms, spicy cucumbers, spicy crab & seafood pot, and the the Taiwanese pot. It was perfectly seasoned. If you like it extra spicy, don't forget to ask for the dipping sauces...we mixed all 4 sauces together and it was yummy
Besides the food being good, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and was able to make recommendations to your liking.
I decided to check out Dipped as I am huge hotpot fan. I went a bit after the initial lunch rush. The staff were friendly and service quick . The atmosphere calm not very noisy at all. The space felt a bit tight as the tables can't really seat more than 4 and are close together. I ordered two types of hotpots - The curry and miso. Both were very flavorful and came with generous portions. It's safe to say both were quickly devoured. I will be coming back to sample the rest of the dishes .
Finally a Hot Pot place in SugarLand and it's DELICIOUS. I don't have to drive to Bellaire anymore. Came in during there Soft Opening for lunch with co-workers 20% off. Our waitress was very attentive and super nice. We order 3 appetizers. The BEST popcorn chicken $7 I ever had 5/5. This is a must have. Mushroom fries $6 5/5. Very healthy, the batter is very light. I like to dip it with the green sauce that comes with it. Corn Fritters $6 3/5. This was ok, kind of doughy. You go to the back to make your own sauce. I tried the Large Spicy Korean Hot Pot ($17 + $1 instant noodle) 5/5. It has cabbage, kim chi, shiitake mushroom, 2 big button mushroom, pork, fishball, fishcake, tofu, green onion. I order the large size so I can share with my co worker. My co-worker order the regular Taiwanese Hot Pot ($13 + $1 Udon) 5/5. It has napa cabbage, mushroom, bok choy, tomato, meatball, another ball cut in half with little meat inside, slices short rib, & other stuff. I like the broth, it was sweet. Another co worker order Japanese Miso ($13 + 1 instant noodle) 5/5. This broth was delicious. Kids will definitely like this hot pot. It has ekoni mushroom, shiitake mushroom, tofu, cabbage, sliced chicken, fish balls, snow peas, green onion, & corn. The broth on all 3 of these Hot Pot was so good that I forget to dip into my sauce. The sauce I made was really good. Definitely coming back to try the other Hot Pot. There are so many choices to choose from.
