Gyro Republic

Fast, friendly, and delicious, even past midnight. I recently discovered this place and am lucky I did. I ordered pretty late, around midnight on Saturday 5/30. Food was still fresh and the service was great. Definitely recommend trying this place for something that’s just as fast as a drive thru, and more bang for your buck too.

Awesome staff!! My first time there, and they helped me understand the menu and even offered samples. Quick and friendly service. That baklava is a must! Props to Tiff and Yam.

Great place, tasty food with a friendly and generous owner. This review is long overdue. My son and I visited Gyro Republic on the first day that the restaurant was supposed to be opened for business. It turned out that the information on Google was outdated and wrong. There were people at the restaurant who were new hires in training. Upon seeing that I had taken the time to come to their establishment the owner insisted that we try the food and that he would cover the cost. I informed him that I needed 4 plates and that I didn't mind paying for some of it do to the large number of meals we were taking to go. He insisted that it was for free. There were others who had showed up and he was generous to offer them free meals also. The food was delicious and filling.

We have been there several times and we have never been disappointed. My youngest son loves this place. Thank you for being a such a great establishment in Sugar Land.

Absolutely adore the crew here. So sweet and most importantly for this area they move FAST! I usually can only pop in to grab food and head back to the office so I appreciate the promptness! Your manager here, never lose her!! She is such a sweetheart and extremely attentive. Greets everyone, acknowledges familiar faces (ME!) and is just really great.
Probably should discuss food - just wanted to highlight the crew since when I am mid afternoon work mode I am antisocial and not a chit chatter, crew here make that semi impossible to do so I wanted to speak to it.

In regards to food, really good, excellent fresh quality. I have tried similar cuisine in the area and while 'similar' offered more toppings, the most important base is always overcooked or tastes as if it has sat out for too long under a heat lamp. Never has been the case at Gyro Republic. Highly recommend the Gyro Mix so you get the best of both worlds!

The beef-lamb gyro was an excellent choice to try for my first time in this restaurant. Try the creamy sauce (a must!) the prices are great and the gyro is big. Customer service was incomparable. Chrissy was so attentive and she made sure to offer us everything at our disposal.
