YAMI House

Being vegetarian, we tried 3 varieties of their "Vegetable Rolls" and absolutely loved them. We also had the Singapore Rice Noodle, which was very flavorful and NOT oily. If you are a vegetarian/vegan, let them know and they will prepare the dish without eggs or Fish sauce. This place is run by a hard-working Chinese family. I would any day prefer patronizing small family-owned businesses than the chain-restaurants serving insipid food.

One suggestion for improvement: Please stop giving plastic forks. It not only pollutes the planet but also makes your (otherwise nice) restaurant look cheap.

The place is a hidden gem! We have gone several times to get Chinese combination plates ….They all have been Excellent! Last night , we ordered Pad Thai and Shaggy Roll …..Excellent as well….. I encourage everyone to support this restaurant…..Not only is the food excellent, so is the service and the friendliness of the employees

So I first ordered YAMI House sushi via doordash. I ordered a shaggy dog roll (delicious) and fried rice (pretty good) for my brother. I liked how the food wasn’t too salty. However, this turned out to not work in their favor when I visited in person for lunch. I got the 9.25 weekday lunch special Sesame Chicken. The chicken tasted bland, like no flavor at all. The sauce was not much better, I thought sesame chicken had a little tanginess to it, this chicken tasted like nothing. The soup and other stuff was fine, but I think I will stick with their Japanese options.

The food was plated like artwork and the ingredients were fresh. The shaggy dog and eggplant in garlic sauce had large portions and were delicious! The Boba milk tea had just the right amount of sweetness at 100%, not too sweet. Definitely want to come back.

Ordered take out and it was absolutely delicious. Food is awesome, service is excellent, and I love how they have a variety of options to choose from. Highly recommended and will definitely come back and try more items next time!
