The food from Sapore Detroit is very very good. As a bonus some of the best items on the Pappa Gyros menu have found their way on the Detroit Pizza menu. But the star of the show is the pizza but the Greek Salad is also amazing. Detroit pizza is takeout only. It can be very difficult and frustrating to get your order in by phone or third party delivery service but its well worth the effort. Tip: if you want a gluten free crust and are using a delivery service leave the request in the comments when ordering.”

“First visit on Mother's Day 2021. Decided to give this new restaurant a try. It exceeded my expectations. Immediately seated. Drinks within 5 minutes and the bartender knows what he's doing. The food was bursting with flavors and nothing fell short. Every dish held it's own...we tried the fried green tomatoes, gumbo, salmon and that amazing eggplant, shrimp and pasta dish. It's so smooth it melts in your mouth. Topped the meals off with chocolate cheesecake and bread pudding. Also delicious. Jazz floating through the air and friendly staff. If this sounds good to you then take a drive to old Katy and check out Tha Roux!!”
