A fixture! A must have breakfast place downtown. 2eggs over easy, bacon and grits! Fantastic home style morning coffee too! Old school feel takes you back in time.
What a place to eat. We stumbled in here on a mid-Monday morning and I loved every bit of it. I loved the old town feeling I got when I walked in here. My family sat at the counter so we could watch our food being made. Our waitstaff was great, friendly. The food was amazing. Pastrami sandwich and meatball subs worth a try. My daughter also had the Go Nuts shake. She loved it. The bathroom was clean. Food prep you can watch and they are very clean. I enjoy seeing all that out front. Such a great place. Friendly atmosphere. Definitely will be our go-to diner while we are in Galveston.
We came here on my mom’s birthday for some sustenance before we did the walking Tree Sculpture Tour.
We loved the atmosphere of the place! I always love a good diner counter setup. Would have loved to try the desserts but we only came in for lunch.
The food was good, we had the Bacon Avocado & Turkey, and the potato salad was FANTASTIC! A little disappointed in the “fresh” fruit, but that wasn’t a big deal.
Our server Josh was very friendly and funny and gave us great, quick service.
This place is in a great area, lots to see and do around here.
The is a "must go" place in Galveston!! Great food and great service. The owner is almost always there, and that adds a real plus. Don't miss a piece of the wonderful cake they have. One kind at a time that changes often, so it's a real adventure!!
Fun place for breakfast before your cruise. Food was decent and the service was friendly. We went upstairs to see more of their things for sale. Loved that it had such great history. Nice bathrooms ????
