Little Daddy’s Gumbo Bar Galveston

This is our first trip to Galveston, and my wife found this place when searching for places to go while we are here. The gumbo here is outstanding. Our little Squeaker also enjoyed eating some of my gumbo to our surprise. I almost regret coming here first during our trip as now we are going to have high expectations wherever we go.

This has become our first stop to eat when we hit the island. People are friendly, service great, best Gumbo ever. Husband had blackened catfish and it was wonderful. A must stop in Galveston

The gumbo was very good, probably 5-6 whole shrimp and the same for whole oysters! We also shared the chargrilled oysters and they were fantastic!!!! The fried shrimp was extremely fresh and crispy and jambalaya was very good. Will most definitely be back. And they took great care of us including my pup!

Had a wonderful time with my wife at the Gumbo Bar in Galveston on a cold February day. Fresh hot gumbo, flavorful fried shrimp and a seafood platter hit the spot! Great service here too! Will be back to sample more of the menu soon.

Food and service was excellent, came in with a party of four and we were greeted and seated promptly. Trey was our server this evening. He was very personable and polite, and answered all of our questions about the menu. If you come in ask for Trey, he was awesome! A great asset for this establishment for sure!
