Flip Flops Beach Bar & Grill

Perfect place on the island to relax and get a drink. Great view of the water and there was live music. Good and drinks are good. Wish they had frozen margaritas.

Nice place to have a drink and food on a sunny beach day. A broad menu with burgers, tacos, etc..

Very crowded since Galveston was crowded with beachgoers on a blue water weekend. Lively band kept a festive atmosphere

This place has a cool location, but that's where the cool ends. They were out of all appetizers except chips and cheese. You would expect if your serving 1 thing, it will be good...assumption wrong! The cheese had huge chunks of unmelted cheese in the bottom of it. Watered down drinks and all the bartenders had horrible attitudes. I understand why there weren't many people there on a mid Sunday afternoon.
The live music was nice and hope they turn this place around. It's a shame that this place was that bad.

Perfect beach patio! I visited on the Fourth of July during their soft opening. The staff was friendly and the patio was dog friendly. This bar is a much anticipated addition to the east end! I look forward to future visits
