Perfectly cooked blue burger ..great service.... outstanding beers.
On a Bluebonnet day trip, stopped in here for lunch. We just beat the rush and ordered. After we ordered we realized they were really short staffed. Not our servers fault but our food came out cold as it had been sitting at the pickup window for a long time. The manager (?) quickly made it right and it was delicious.
Walking down Main Street looking for burgers and beer and found this place. Very impressed with the food—the Bison Chips were some of the best nachos we’ve ever had. Our waiter, Wyatt, recommended some great beer and drinks and told us about the owner’s culinary background which showed in the delicious food. We will tell all of our friends who come to town about this place and plan to definitely come back ourselves.
We wanted a burger and a beer. Saw this restaurant and stopped in. The website gave it $$ for price. For a Buffalo Nickel classic burger it was $12.95! That's more than $$ to me. It was good, but not exceptional to warrant $13 for a burger. It comes on a chibatti bun, which was fresh, but a bit greasy on the bottom from the burger. Fries were pretty peppery! My husband loved them. But they were also not very crispy, which I like. Everything on the menu was expensive. A bottle of Lone Star beer was $5. The dessert menu had a brownie sundae for $9!!! Even homemade, that's pretty pricey. $35 + tip was a big to much for two burgers and a beer. I had water. Bathroom was very clean but the one stools was pretty loose, not just the top but the whole thing! We're just passing through the area, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, nor would I return. Staff was friendly.
After visiting the museum we stopped for a late lunch as it was the closest to our parking several blocks away. Like all if Fredericksburg they were busy. Caught last table without a wait. Slow getting seated and a wait for a server. After that it was great. Decent time on drinks and order. Food out in a reasonable time. Our burgers were some of the best we've had in ages. As long as the wait isn't bad I'd visit again without hesitation.
