“We have dined there 2 times recently. On Friday November 21, 2014 at about 1:30pm. There was limited choices of food. They had fried chicken and some kind of bbq pork. I am not a fan of either of these items. I ended up getting some fried okra and some peas and fixed a salad from the salad bar. The salad was excellent. I thought it was pretty expensive salad that I ate that day. On Sunday November 23, 2014 12:00pm. We went here after church. My husband said the fried chicken was much better this time. The steak was good but was a little over cooked. There were plenty of choices of vegetables. They were pretty good. Overall I like Ryan's. If you are going to compare Ryan's with Golden Corral. I think that Golden Corral has much more food choices for the price of the buffet. Taste of food is about the same. My husband likes Ryan's fried chicken much better than GC. And, I wonder what happened to the Roast. I never see it on the buffet anymore. I like Ryan's Pot Roast. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Tackle Box. We started at our meal with the fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms. They were fantastic they bring out all the sauces and sides that you need. We have the fish and shrimp and the shrimp was absolutely fantastic. They were huge. The staff is fantastic. Everybody goes out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need and is ready to accommodate any needs that you have. Dinner4two not including tip $43. What a deal. “I like the chopped beef sandwiches with marbled meat in it and a slice of onion. I also like the jalapeno cheese sausage. So this particular day the little skinny guy that works there starts cutting up the sausage. Just picking up different small pieces and cutting them and putting them on my plate. Sausage was cold and cheese hard inside. The owners workers don't serve customers like he does. The owner and his son treat people with respect and don't serve scraps”
