Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Visited on a Friday evening around 8pm and they were not very busy. We were greeted when we walked in the door and the staff were very attentive and patient as we tried to determine what we wanted. Both the Italian ice and custard were AMAZING. Wish there one closer to where l live!

I'm so glad they opened here! I go all the time and they are my favorite ice cream place for almost 30 years! I recommend everyone try them.

I grew up on the east coast in a small town that had a Rita's. It was always so delicious and just the perfect treat. I've lived in Texas for 15 years and every now and then I'd get a craving and see if Rita's had opened up here. Finally one did! Made the wife come with me and my goodness, it's not just nostalgia, it's just as delicious as it was all those years ago. I always go for the gelati with the ice and custard. The sweet ice that has the smoothest texture compared against rich bold creamy custard, if I lived closer I'd go every day. Plus as a kid, I only ever got one flavor but, now as an adult I can try their multitude of rotating flavors! Got to try the strawberry Colada, absolutely delicious. Plus this location was well kept with a friendly fast working staff. I wish them all the success so that hopefully they can open a closer location to SA and I'll frequent that one even more 😂
