Very cool patio on a Sunday for brunch. Must go! The cauliflower is out of this world. The Eggs Benedict is different based on the creole spin. Not my jam but really loved everything else. Excellent service!
A great place to hangout with friends and family during the weekend. Our waitress is very friendly and nice. The food is quite good. However, there aren’t many options for the brunch. Oh, one more plus is that you don’t need to wait to get your table while the waiting time for the other more popular places is approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
Ate at the upstairs restaurant earlier this week and really enjoyed it. It was a cold mid-week day so there weren't a lot of people, but the service was spot-on; friendly and helpful without being annoying, and the food was great. My parents were visiting from Australia so I wanted them to try some Louisiana fare and this was an excellent place for it. Lovely to sit and chill after the meal, too.
When we got back downstairs and to the car in the lot out the back we found our back window smashed in and a bag taken. There are signs in the parking lot so this is no way the restaurant's fault but be wary; they are NOT kidding! The staff and manager (maybe owner?) were so kind and helpful; let us look at the security footage and loaned us a dustpan and broom to clean things up. And then brought out a trash bag to cover the open window while we drove somewhere to get it fixed. So much appreciate this extra care! :)
Very nice spot. The restaurant is upstairs and you have the choice of inside or sitting in the big patio area which looks out over the Heights Theater area.
Our food was very good - fried shrimp and fish and chips. Saw the chicken, burger and shrimp and grits a nearby table was enjoying. We also had the cheese plate appetizer with a selection from Dairymaids.
We will definitely go back. Good for dinner or just to sit on the patio with appetizers and drinks. The sangria was also very good. Beer selection was decent. They had a dessert menu that looked good too.
Our server was very nice and all of the staff We're friendly. Great place in a nice location.
