Federal American Grill

One of my favorite places for steak. Crab cakes are some of the best in the city. Amazing service, very attentive and they remember their regulars. Even the valet is amazing and remembers return visitors. Don't forget to ask for the biscuits, they are life changing. For dessert, you have to get the chocolate chip cookie...half baked in a cast iron skillet topped with vanilla ice cream. I always save room for dessert here!

This restaurant never disappoints. I took family here visiting from out of town and it’s always great. I normally do the shrimp and grits but went with the sausage and bacon omelet instead. A MUST IS THE CHEESEBURGER EGGROLLS - they are bits of Heaven! I wish they added a few more options to the brunch menu but overall I always enjoy this atmosphere. The crab cake wasn’t Amazing just good. Other items ordered were the French Toast, Chicken and Donut, braised beef and poached egg -(husband didn’t love his potatoes, however I liked them)

I came here for restaurant week in 2018 and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant had a touch of fancy while also being very casual. The staff was superb and the food was delicious. The salmon was delicious and had the perfect amount of zest and seasoning! Parking may be hard to come by but overall, it’s a nice place.

This is my favorite restaurant in Houston. Hands down. I proposed to my wife here. We had our engagement party here. They do it all. They provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere the moment you enter. Whether its getting Jerry or Pete to make you an old fashioned (the best in Houston by far) or wanting something to snack on (the fried cheeseburger egg rolls are my favorite), this establishment is 100% class.

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend the double bone in pork chop. It is a Fred Flintstone sized portion cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning.
