This is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston, the butter chicken is my go-to dish but everything on their menu is delicious! My roommate is Vegan and when I introduced him to this place as having vegan options, it quickly became one of his favorites too! This is a locally owned and operated restaurant, I've never had a bad experience here, and if I ever got something I didn't like or want, as long as I was a reasonable human being, they did everything they could to accommodate. The key is not to be a trash human. ???? I recommend it to anyone that enjoys Indian cuisine. Expect traditional dishes but with a Texas spin. Try it at least one with someone else to share a few things.
What a great and clever way to incorporate two different food types. The place is rustic and the food is pretty good! Portion size is good. I got the beef kebab dish with marsala sauce on the size for dipping. My brother got chicken and waffles and he said it was delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating as well.
While the food was good, it's a small space. The server must have been new because there were a few mistakes. They were knowledgeable of actual Indian cuisine, which I liked also. I believe the price is more expensive that what I've paid for Indian food. The samosas were small for the price also. My husband got the Himalayan burger, which they said was famous, but I don't know what stands out about it. So, not bad, but I'll keep my local Indian restaurant on speed dial before this place
Came here with a group of people and the staff was marvelous and super accommodating! Also enjoyed that there was a variety of options on the menu so if you have non-Indian food loving friends they still will enjoy something on the menu. Food was delicious, and they instructed those who ordered some of the Indian dishes how they are consumed, which I thought was extremely thoughtful.
I love Indian food and American cocktails - this place is the best of both worlds. It has traditional Indian fare along with American dishes such as burgers and salads. They are also known for their chicken and waffle brunch. There is a full bar and large outdoor eating area. Great food at fair prices. Highly recommend.
