Upper Kirby’s (on Shepherd) newly opened Italian restaurant. Recognised the owner/chef was from Da Marco, no wonder the food quality, dish presentation, and service were excellent. No signage at the door. Contemporary interior ambiance, white themed based. Upscale though not stuck-up. Recommend trying its truffle specialty dishes. Pasta and pizzas are both delicious. Have to come back to try its dinner dishes.

My friend and I showed up without a reservation, Ricky was very honest and said, “you can have a table for 75 minutes, will that be ok?” We weren’t planning to stay long and really wanted to go based on all the reviews. It was wonderful. Ricky and his team provided exceptional service, the pizza was crisp and the flavors in the sauce were fantastic. We started with the potato croquettes and we’re not disappointed with these little bites of heaven. There are only 17 tables, make a reservation. It’s a great new spot with great food.

I'm not sure why people would have a negative comment about the service. Yes, the service industry has been greatly impacted by the pandemic, but Amore did above and beyond on the service aspect. The wine was amazing, the food was beautiful and absolutely tasty. We had the Grilled Octopus, Spaghetti Harry's Bar, the Thanksgiving Duck, a puff/cream dessert with hints of orange, finished off with espresso.

The presentation was gorgeous, everything tasted amazing, and the service was top notch. We highly recommend supporting this beautiful and delicious local restaurant!

The sea bass dish is to die for like to be honest I have never had any other sea bass that tastes like this. The octopus was so well cooked and still juicy and soft I could not believe how they cooked it. The truffles Oh my, I was just in heaven living the dream.

Well done Chef Alfredo! You deserve the best! Congrats on your dream. You have an amazing a team (crew). You can see that the team is happy and motived, I saw them working all night this is the true love story of a restaurant. I can say this that seriously it was absolutely amazing, for us to watch and enjoy every bit of the atmosphere.

Andrew was our server he was oUtstanding. To hear the story and to see the actual facts with the taste of their delicious dishes… my only advice to you readers could be is to go try and taste their delicious recipes before you cannot make a reservation at their restaurant as They will be fully booked.

I went with a group for their soft opening and could not be more excited for such an amazing restaurant in the neighborhood! Staff was incredibly kind and we loved hearing the restaurants story. Artichoke appetizer was AMAZING, pasta was cooked beautifully, fish was out of this world, and dessert had the perfect amount of sweetness. Can’t wait to go back when they have their full menu available!
