This post is ridicously good! And you must try the pizza authentic and absolutely delicious. I 'll be back this weekendd!!
I work here, and I'm in love with my job and the food. I am truly happy here and love all my coworkers! God couldn't have blessed me with a better place to work. Everyone needs to come n try our food and enjoy the great service and hospitality we provide!
1. Service was a bit wacky. They assumed we were take-out customers and didn’t bring menus until we reminded them we were here. Then we asked for crushed peppers and they totally forgot until we went to ask how long it would take.
Great things! Obviously the service didn’t get it 5 stars!
2. This is real wood fired pizza. I recommend sitting at the “bar” and watching the magic! Watch them toss the fresh dough. Watch them add wood, move and turn the pizzas. It’s an art!!
3. We taste test pizza all over the place. Admittedly wood-fired pizza in Italy beat this... but otherwise this is really good!!! We always order the Margherita pizza with pepperoni for comparison purposes and this rates HIGHLY!!
4. I saw some comments about it being too soft and needing silverware. NO SILVERWARE!! That (in my opinion) is normal for a true pizza of this style. SOLUTION: Season with peppers and parmesan, then cut off and eat the soft tip, next fold the soft cut end up to the crust , pick up the folded pizza and ENJOY!!! FOLDING allows you to enjoy that wood fired crust even more!!!
5. For me the red sauce on the pizza was a tiny bit sweeter than I like. But still obviously really good. I recommend this place for sure!!
Great service! great bar! beer and wine only. they have happy hour. 3-6pm Pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven. Cooked in less than 90 seconds in a 900 degrees oven. Must try
great pizza unmatched from anything I've tasted in Houston. Those who left a bad review don't know what real food is. Maybe you should stick to Little Cesar's or some Totino hot pockets because you don't know your head from your butt when it comes to good food. By the way, if you don't like the pizza here then don't bother going to Italy. We don't need the Mediterranean tainted with your bad sense of taste ! 😎
