Fat No BBQ is the latest Asian BBQ joint to open up on Houston. Its location on the Bellaire Food Street and the amazing food will ensure plenty of foot traffic. We tried the beef kebab skewer, lamp skewer, chicken skewer, hibachi calamari skewer, Chinese bread, edimame, boiled peanuts, shrimp skewer and a fired potatoes skewer. The staff is super nice and helpful to newcomers.

One of the best Chinese Style BBQ restaurant in Houston. I heard that when they grand opening people didn't like it. I waited until I feel they are more stabilized and took my Vietnamese friend here.
We ordered almost everything on the menu and they are all so flavorful. The noodle soup is made fresh daily and they have a noodle bar, you can watch the cook make your noodle soup right there. The BBQ station is huge and they can cook so many kebabs the same time.
The items you just have to order: 1. lamb noodle soup. 2. BBQ squid. 3. Lamb ribs ( so crispy outside and so tender inside, they picked the best part of the lamb meat) 4. Cold noodle dish (this is their signature item, authentic from southeast of China)
I would also highly recommended the grilled sweet bread and sweet corn, you can actually eat them as a dessert.
As an authentic Chinese Style BBQ shop, I really loved their varieties of choices of meat and vegetables. Instead of using charcoal for the vegetables they actually grilled it in a different way so that, the grilled vegetables are still very moist and flavorful.
Services was so attentive and fast, they help us ordering with great suggestions. Everything was very flavorful and tasty, highly recommended and will definitely come back again soon.
I could be nice and give a 5 star rating, then I would be lying, as I wasn’t too impressed with all the food we ordered. The food looked better than it tasted to me, and I went there with an empty stomach. I guess when you’re in Houston, you get spoiled easily by the accessibility to great Chinese food, then you become a picky eater and a harsh food critic.
Really like the foods there, pork belly and lamb are my most favorite and follow by the squids. The bacon wrap cilantro very tasty ad well. Overall, really enjoy the foods there.
