House of Pies

We love Danielle. She is very kind, attentive and funny. She took our order with all the patience in the world. The food was really delicious. Bayou goo pie and lemon icebox pie are scrumptious. You have to wear your mask to enter the building. The restaurant is very clean and well organized.

This is the original and best House of Pies. If you're into comfort food and phenomenal desserts, this is the place. And the customer service is warm and welcoming. The people here care about their customers and it shows. I like the food but I LOVE the desserts. The desserts are always fresh and delicious. The pies are out of this world. I also love the cheese cakes, the cookies and the mini pies. I've been eating here for years... I recommend this place.

We went in just for slices of pie. We were fist timers and after informing the waitress she kindly brought us the pie by the slice menu, which isn't already on the table. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and the guy behind the register was very sweet. The pie comes in a huge slice and priced differently but about $5 a slice.

I got the almond cheesecake, which was pretty good. My son got the chocolate fudge cheesecake which was really good. My other son got the sugar free cherry pie which he said was really good. My husband got the lemon meringue pie which was so delicious. The meringue was delicious and the filling was more towards the jello consistency.

My favorite place for comfort food! Our food was delicious. The Regency club is my favorite! I always ask them to warm up the turkey before putting it in because I love warm sandwiches more than cold. The french fries are always yummy! I recommend getting chili cheese on them, SO good.. We were talking to our waiter about if the strawberry and rhubarb pie was any good and he ended up bringing us a free slice to try. Such a sweet man! I believe his name was Greg. The blueberry pie is by far my favorite and my boyfriend loves the Dutch apple pie. We highly recommend this place! Place was clean and everybody was polite.

Here is the truth about this place. It is a 24 hour diner. When going into a place like this just remember the name of the place is house of PIES, and not house of all yummy foods. They have typical diner quality food that is equivalent to any 24 hour diner spot. However, their pies and sweets are on point all the way. As one would expect. The seating inside is limited and parking lot is a major pain point. They do have signs posted that each person has to spend I think it was like $3.50 an hour if they want to just sit and hang. I guess they have a lot of people trying to come in and just loiter. I always have a good time when going it is a great place to go for those endless nights where you just need to get food and no where else is open. I would say this place is a absolute MUST if you need some sweets for any occasion: parties, birthday, anniversary, ect.
