The steamed dumplings are easily my favorite dish to order here. The portion sizes are pretty large (especially the soups), the kimchi is strong, and the service is quick! Cold noodles on a hot summer day is super refreshing! It's also vegetarian friendly!
Pretty wide variety of Korean food in one place. I liked the broth of the kalguksoo a lot. Very thick and very savory with chicken flavor. The noodles seem to be store bought however vs handmade. The cholmyun was decent as was the dongchimi noodles. The dongchimi soup was quite refreshing, the noodles were an interesting green thin flat noodle. The ddukppoki was a little bland or missing something.
We visited around 5 p.m.
There were not many customers.
The staff was friendly and the food was served quickly.
We felt the store was too hot because all the menus were hot.
The food and kimchi were all delicious.
MDK Noodles Houston offers fresh dumplings and hand pull noodles made in-house daily.
These pan fried dumplings were crispy and tasty and not oily, it's just perfect! The steam pork & shrimp Dumplings, oh mine! Heaven!
And of course, the Korean side dishes are just so tasty and perfect to start our feast.
Very glad some of the people who were dining with me got to try the Korean Soju for their 1st time. We ordered a number of Soju flavours and it felt like a Soju Tasting. I personally enjoyed the Soju Grapefruit flavour the most. Not really a fan of the traditional flavour.
Have you tried Soju before? If yes, did you enjoy the drink?
Bulgogi Pancake. Do you want a slice? We will definitely come back to this place.
Korean food is one of my favorites and I just found a restaurant that has 10/10 great dishes! MDK Noodles in Chinatown offers authentic Korean dishes with amazing flavors.
One of my favorite dishes was the Spicy Marinated Pork Bulgogi. The bulgogi marinade was perfect! It had a little kick but also kept the delicious flavor of the meat.
