Food is fantastic. Not a huge cilantro fan, so when I ordered the mushroom taco I asked no cilantro. Got up to pay in the drive thru and gentleman said, "order for Mike" read me the order. I asked him if it was no cilantro and he said it wasn't. Well it sure had cilantro on it and even the ticket itself didn't say no cilantro. I know you are probably busy but still don't straight lie and even grab the bag like that. He wasn't rude or anything, just wish could have been honest is all.
This was an above average experience, but Houston is blessed with so many real taco stands that it's hard to recommended it for the price.
Price was not absurd, but it was $20 for my wife and I to eat a few tacos with chips. So, cheaper than a lot of fancy places, but a decent bit more expensive than a real taco stand.
Quality was decent, but again, not as good as some of the more notorious taco stands around town.
So, if you're after a cheap meal or the best tacos, I'd look elsewhere.
However, if you're in the Heights and looking for a place that has nice outdoor seating and don't want to spend a ton of money on the other options in the area, then this is a good option.
Happy to have this spot in the neighborhood! The breakfast tacos were delicious! The tortillas were very yummy! We ate on the patio which is a combination of open and covered, but all very airy. It was quick and very tasty. Can't wait to try for lunch/dinner and the margaritas next time! Very excited for the drive thru too!
I've been waiting on this spot to open and finally the day has come. The place was packed but the drive thru was empty when I pulled up so I went for the take out. Got the mixed burrito with beef and chicken. The burrito was massive and good however the chicken was extremely salty. Not sure if that was the intent as the beef was seasoned perfectly. I used the red sauce to tone it down. I'll chalk this up as a fluke and of course give them another shot. Service staff were all on point so hopefully they can get the food to line up better and keep the standards up.
EVERYTHING. From the breakfast tacos to the burritos and the meat options to the veggie options, everything on this menu is fantastic. The tortillas are made fresh and you can really taste the difference the freshness makes. The margaritas are great whether you get the ones they can in-house or the one of the frozens. Wait time is minimal and the service is great. Whether you choose to dine in or go through the drive through, you will not be disappointed. I can't say enough good things about this place.
