“Such a fantastic experience at Proper Rose. They food was incredibly tasty I got some vegetable dumpling, fries, and a dragonyaki. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming to each customer. “I stopped in for a Passion Tea! The best passion tea on earth. It was so refreshing. There are 5 to 6 different toppings you can add to any drink. “???? Vegetarian Love Steamed Bao Bun & Pork Chashu Bao ???? Strawberry yogurt cheese bites & Matcha macchiato ❤️ I was amazed by the Bao. I haven’t had this kind of steamed bun for a long time (although it’s not really how we make 刈包 Gua Bao in Taiwan ????????), the bun is awesome! The texture of the bun is just right, not too soft, not too stiff. The best thing about this steamed bun is the sauce. It mixed in with the tofu, the veggie, and the bun. But just be careful when eating it. The sauce is liquidy, it’s gonna drip everywhere ????. Highly recommend to eat it there, or just when it’s still hot. I’m so pumped about letting more peep know this place cuz I haven’t really found another Gua Bao place in Houston, especially they are pretty gooooood! Give it a shot and I bet you’ll love it! - The strawberry yogurt cheese bites does not disappoint me. There are a good amount of cheese chunks in the drink, which tastes a little like cheese cake. The whipped cream is also tasty, not too sweet, kinda like the one from Starbucks ????. On the other hand, I don’t really like the matcha latte, I feel like the matcha flavor is too strong that it covers the milk taste. “Really enjoyed this place! We got shaking beef, tofu crispy rice noodles, and tofu spring rolls. Simple clean flavors with high quality ingredients. Very fresh. Rice noodle dish had a crispy noodle pancake that had nice texture. I did not try the beef but husband said it was very good. Beer selection is great and fair prices. We got 3 pints and the total bill was $41 so very reasonable for 2 people. Left very full! Will be back”

“My family of 7 went to this restaurant last night. To our surprise it was open to the public but only for tasting. We started with nachos, they were full of flavor and so yummy! The enchiladas were so good. My 3 older children that tend not to care for enchiladas loved them. We had 2 different kinds. The red ones with ground beef were to die for. The green tomatillo ones were just spicy enough to have amazing flavor. We were served warm fresh chips and salsa. By the end of the night my 1 year old was drinking it out of the bowl. The fajitas were fresh and tender. They were served with all of the sides your would normally get. Rice, beans, guacamole, pico, and sour cream. I can not wait for this place to be fully open on Monday!”

There was a grumpy costumer in a car behind us and since I was in a big truck I was politely told to scoot up in front of popeyes and I waited about 10 minutes and when I got my food they explained why they took so long ...the grumpy customer behind us wanted 5 chicken sandwiches and when they got to the drive through window to pay the guy told the costumer the price and the costumer cussed him out he obviously was having a bad day or something...that's okay we still got our sandwiches fresh and hot ...and they were delicious!”

They gave us a few samples of pastries we have never had before and we were hooked. We ended up buying and eating a ton of stuff. I highly recommend the Almojabanas, they are gluten-free and so delicious. They have Venezuelan, Colombian and Andean pastries and food and sodas and coffees. Really really a blessing for the Muslim option in the Katy area, as the other Halal markets tend to be really far away. Prices here are also good. Not as expensive as other stores. Reality worth a look.”
