“When I lived in Vista Villas this was my favorite place for orange chicken. I love their egg rolls. They have good sesame beef/chicken. The fried rice is not traditional fried rice so it is only ok. The house family special meal is really good to. I still drive over sometimes and get it to go. I have actually never stepped inside once. Always to go. Obviously with it being open so long a lot of other people agree with me.”

Smokehouse brisket sandwich was very good, they have great dessert options. I had the oreo balls and they were very warm and fluffy, and the chocolate chip mint shake was tasty as well. “Excellent! I bought the $5 Fillup combo and it is a great deal. A leg and thigh choice of side, a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie with a 20oz drink. The Colonel has a great recipe! The staff was pleasant and the place was clean. Bathroom was immaculate. I haven't been to KFC in 5 years or so but I don't plan to wait that long again! Excellent!”

“Saw a great random act of humanity from the manager last year but got my review location mixed up. As for a food review.. the food is ALWAYS hot and made to order, service is friendly, accurate and inviting.. and the store itself is historic, well kept, and clean.. but most importantly is that their ice cream machine is NEVER broken. Best Dairy Queen in the county hands down. So.. random loiterer was making rounds on their lot and customers in the drive through for money/food. A manager walked out shortly after and seemed like he was going to kick them off the lot, but rather surprisingly proceeded to listen to the guy after he asked him a question or two. I overheard the manager then asking if he wanted his "burger all the way" and "if he wanted a meal".. then took his order like any other customer and charged it on the house. The manager then humbly gave him the food once ready and the loitering gentleman and his girl went on their way after thanking the manager. This is unfortunate to see in our city but it's the reality for some. People need help even if its just from themselves.. nothing to be proud of no matter the cause or addiction or choices made to reach that level of desperation.. But witnessing the owner/manager show such unrewarding compassion and humanity without hesitation, was incredibly admirable.. we need more people like him now, more than ever in this world. Bravo and cheers, Mr. tall, bearded manager guy at DQ. You deserve a raise, vacation, award and most importantly.. proper recognition for doing what you did that day. Thanks, man.”

“Awesome, always have great pizza at an affordable price for people who can't afford much. I went on a Friday evening, which is crowd time. Employees were very focused in attendance. Cooks were focused in making the orders and even the customers were very patiently waiting. No one was upset or impatient. It had a beautiful atmosphere. When I got home I was able to enjoy the pizza and wings more because of the beautiful atmosphere I experienced. Rethinking about the harmony I witnessed felt heaven had come to earth. “I'd give it 4 stars but it's just the Casa! They really need to up their game and shake things up but like I said...it's the Casa. They have the same menu they've had for 20+ years and they'll probably never change. However they do have a menu insert for Lent that seemed quite reasonable and oh wait...I think I will give it 4 stars because of this. The server, Hayden, was great and very attentive to our needs and even when we had a problem, he addressed it quickly and apologized even though it wasn't his fault. Come to think of it...he gets 5 stars!”
