Islamorada Fish Company

I have been here twice because of gift cards. The first time back when they opened and now. The food is just ok. Had the fish and chips this go round and the beer batter was decent but the fish was over cooked slightly. The broccoli coleslaw was really good. We also had the seafood stuffed mushrooms which would of been great had they used a better crab meat. The bread they serve with the meal has a sugar salt mixture baked on it and it's different in a good way. Over all the prices are decent for the amount of food you get. The server was nice and attentive. We were the only people there at that time of day - 2:50 pm to be exact. If you are starving for seafood and you are already there give them a try. Honestly there is really no great seafood eateries close to the area. So draw a straw and take the risk.

Always great food and good service. The hamburgers here are our favorite. They are so big that both my husband and I share 1 plate and just cut it in half. It's fun to go walk around Bass Pro here before we get lunch! Our kids enjoy the fish tanks on the inside of the restaurant as well.

Clam chowder was surprisingly good for being outside of New England and the signature grilled redfish sandwich was terrific. The only reason I did not give it 5 Stars was because they changed the bread that used to be so amazing to something that is merely okay. I was pretty disappointed by that. It's been a while since I had been there and I remembered the bread being so good.
