The food was flavorful. Caveat: everything is spicy . Some hotter than others. On a good note, even though I had the level three spice I didn't have heartburn.”

I stopped in for some treats only; I had the banana split and it was by far the best banana split I have ever had . . . Delicious. “First and foremost, Pier 8 Seafood, is a fish market and an eating establishment second. You walk up to a large selection of various species of fresh fish and shrimp. You may purchase your choice(s) for take home to cook yourself or for a small extra amount they will fry the whole fish or fry/boil the shrimp for you. Sides are a choice of french fries or onion rings. With a couple of beers the meal was great. A choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Staff was helpful and friendly. A good choice if you are in the area. Oh yes, we had a red snapper and fries. Yum”

“We went for lunch because the weather was spectacular...perfect breeze and the always great views with lakeside seating. They were extremely busy as one might expect. Typically would give them a 4, rarely a 5 as it's more about sociability with adult beverages than the actual food. But today service was slow. Very slow. My burger and fries were good enough. My wife's fish tacos were cold and the tortillas had fallen apart due to sitting for so long. They did have a good appearance and were made the way she asked, so had they come out timely I'm sure would have been good. Took them off the bill. Not their best day...but we WILL be back!”

“I had a great experience with the young lady in the shop this morning. There was a grown infant ahead of me. He kept loudly pronouncing words like he was just learning the words. It was rude because he was talking to a grown woman who had given nothing but respect. Even when he had a tantrum, she was able to calm him by letting him use his words. He left no tip. I know it's Subway but if your gonna want to tell an employee who's been trained by the corporation how to do their job, you could leave a little something when they calmly go thru your training program.”
