“This place is hit or miss in a big way. I have been two times. The first time. I thought the tacos and service were pretty good. I enjoyed 1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 brisket taco. The second time was a disaster of an experience. It took 40 minutes to get my taco order for dinner. I think they were having staff or inventory issues. It took forever and then they got my order wrong. Hopefully, they get their service issues figured out.”

“This location is hands down the best shipleys! I was so happy when I walked in and they had an ice and soda machine! Then the also sold bottled unsweetened tea! I looked at my brother and said the only thing that could make this any better is if the had mustard and to my surprise they did! None of the other locations I've been to had these items. All Shipleys have kolaches and donuts that's a given. I want to say thank you to the owner of this location for adding these items to your store. I pay attention to the small details. To add the last time I went to a different location the kolaches were hard and old. I am glad I stopped here. The kolaches and donuts were fresh. Plus the kolaches are best with mustard!”

“Best baklava I’ve ever had… New restaurant alert! We just had a phenomenal lunch at Athena's Corner. Judd had the gyro plate, with an added chicken kabob, and I had the Greek lasagna. The food was fresh and cooked and seasoned so well. To finish, he had the chocolate cake (which was unusually light) and I had the BEST baklava I’ve ever had. It was flaky, not too sweet, and not saturated in syrup like most places. I could eat a tray and will be craving it later today...😅😂 If you are by Seabrook and love Greek food, this is a must try.”

“Everything was so delicious. We love the sauce that came with the fried pickles and calamari. The grilled squid was sooo tender, ugh amazing. The fried shrimp had the perfect amount of batter and was fried just right with the shrimp being tender. We got the boiled seafood bowl of green mussels, shrimp, and crab clusters. We went with the sunny special sauce/spicy and it was so good! Again, everything was tender and flavorful and service was great too.”

However, I enjoyed the food and will return. 5 small tacos with very tasty meat, sauce, and toppings for $7.49 seems like a pretty good deal to me. The quesadillas are also very good!”

“First- Mmmmmmm! Second- We've recommended Kirk and J's to so many people since we first tried them during their soft opening! Third- The BBQ! So tender and flavorful. And we love the regular and spicy BBQ sauce (spicy is awesome). And the sides- just delicious. The last time we went, my two year old was drinking the mac n cheese from the bowl! Fourth- Kirk is just good people. He came out and chatted with us while we were there. He truly loves what he does and it shows in every bite. I highly recommend Kirk & J's!!!”
