I feel like they are slightly overpriced, $5.00 items sell for $3.00 elsewhere. But the coffee was very good with free refills for dine in customers. The Key Lime pie was also very good. The atmosphere is so-so. The staff were very attentive to cleaning.

Rao's is a rare find and uncommonly good Italian Bakery-Coffee house. Found normally in a lot more exotic places than suburbia Houston, this establishment really sticks out. Go and enjoy...love!

Small menu for eating, but sandwiches and soups are delicious. So many pastries to choose from for dessert. And the cakes are Delicious! Had the chocolate with raspberry filling for my birthday a while back and it was soooo good!

Rao’s is one of my favorite bakeries! I’m a baker myself, so finding some place that tastes better than my own baking was really hard. My favorite cakes of theirs is the strawberry cake, and their pineapple-coconut cake. It’s so moist and delicious! I recently tried their strawberry tres leches, and was in heaven!
I order my birthday cakes from them every year.

First timer. Pros: Lovely place. Nice atmosphere. Beautiful product. Will update when we try sandwiches and broader breakfast and lunch menu. Cons: It was 9:00 am and none of the signs were correct in the display cases. Nice touch to have warm mugs! but one of the coffee cannisters was stone cold. Will be back to explore further.
