“Update: After this post, Gregg reached out to me to address the situation. He was very empathetic/understanding about my experienceand promised to make it right. I will be giving Eastside Boilers another try, I feel like it will be a much better visit. Thank you, Gregg for taking the time to listen and putting in the effort to grow! It really does make a difference. I really enjoy going to Willie's Joint, but East Side Boilers rubbed me the wrong way tonight. I paid as any honest customer would but, not happy that they were dishonest in their pricing. I bought 3lbs of crawfish and 1lb of shrimp and it was charged $11+ over menu price. Their product was good but, when I mentioned the over charge, the only response from the snooty (to say the least) cashier was, "I'm sorry, We'll change it." She even said, " You can leave a tip right there.", pointing to the tip prompt. I would have hoped they would have changed the pricing on the menu immediately but, I was mistaken. After 2 hrs, the menu price remained the same and I would encourage Willie's Joint to address their "Less than honest" 3rd party tenant, as it is not right for them to charge more than menu price with out being properly annotated on their menu prior to purchase. Please see the pictures as proof. Willie's Joint will always be a "go-to" but, East Side Boilers will need a change of business model to re-gain my trust.”

“Taste on Main was awesome! We are Marylanders originally and did not realize this was a seafood restaurant as we typically won’t eat seafood in Texas (sorry if you’re offended). However, we went to Taste and got to try a bunch of food with friends and it was great. We did try bites of the tuna tostadas and the fish dinner dish - both were good! The best things for me were the drinks 100%. I had a similar to a cosmo martini, I actually had 2 and we tried the frozen coffee for dessert and wow- probably the best part of the meal! I tried the bolognese which was really good, flavorful. I had a bit of issue with the texture of the noodle shape (totally my fault and issue) but the dish was good! The seasonal side was this cauliflower with pomegranate seeds, which was fantastic. Another favorite of the evening. The fried steak was good but a bit overwhelming/ heavy. To be expected when you order the dish but I wouldn’t order it again. If you like Texas seafood and phenomenal cocktails, HIGHLY recommend Taste on Main. I would go back, just would order the chicken dish, an actual steak or the burger looked great! I honestly could go and just drink, all cocktails were that great!”

“My first time visiting. We made reservations for 5:30. Upon arrival was seated at our table. Our appetizer of blue crab cakes, chef special of a seared tuna over mash potatoes and topped with veggies was the best!! My date enjoyed her lettuce wedge. The cocktails were on point!! Definitely will be back.”

“There's no play place. I have a gripe with ordering from kiosks. The interior design is poor. The food is standard McDonald's fare. The service was good when we dined-in.”

“You can’t go wrong with anything here either. The crying tiger and the wing basket are my favorites, but everything we’ve tried is amazing. These guys also know how to keep you happy and laughing. Great atmosphere!”

“Great pizza and nice people! The cheese is not just normal mozzarella, the sauce tastes fresh, and the crust is on the thicker side but has great texture and is crunchy on the bottom. I would love to see a thinner option at some point. The owner thanked me for giving them a try and asked for me to give him feedback. It’s great to support a local business here in Buda who is striving to offer an excellent product. Give them a shot!”

“Looks like this store might've been bought by another family or group of investors. While it was already a great store with friendly helpful guys working it looks like the new owners are already trying to make changes for the better. I'll miss my old friends from the store but i think change is always good and I'm certain they were able to make a profit for this store.. it is a little disheartening knowing I'll never again walk in and hear "what's up player?" Lol”

“My friend Lucy brought me here for lunch the other day. We wanted to try a few things so we split the B.L.A.S.T, the schnitzel, and the crusted PB&J. Oh. My. Goodness! They were all phenomenal! Give Parasol a try, amazing food and service!”

“I usually have pleasant experiences here, even though the drive-thru is commonly slow. Today I was really disappointed to be told to "have a blessed day." I guess I didn't get the memo that Starbucks was morphing into a Christian organization. I rather appreciated the secular coffee experiences I previously had at this location. Don't think I will patronize this establishment anymore.”

“Moved to Buda almost a year ago and finally tried Bahama Buck's. My advice - DON'T WAIT - GO NOW!! Or even stop by when driving through Buda on your way to Austin or San Marcos. The shaved ice isn't crunchy but more like fresh airy snow! Absolutely amazing. Tons of flavors with a very expansive menu.”
