I have lived in San Marcos for a long time and I have never actually eaten here before yesterday. They serve breakfast, then transition to a different menu for lunch/dinner.

It was PACKED when we showed up, not a single empty table. We ordered and were able to snag a seat just as another table was leaving. (Sweet tea was out????) Despite the number of orders in, our burgers came out quickly. They were excellent and I plan on returning.

This is truly what one would think is a hole in the wall, but is actually quite big. The breakfast is surprisingly good. We got the chocolate pancake, avocado toast and biscuit and gravy. The avocado toast and biscuit with gravy come with eggs made to order. The avocado toast could use some more avocado, but the taste of everything was fantastic. Would definitely go back.

Best burger ever. Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce burger on Texas Toast to soak in that sauce. My wife got the bacon cheeseburger and said it is in her top 3 burgers she'd ever had. Gotta have that strawberry shake which was perfect with the BBQ burger. Definitely a must try. Very welcoming staff and all out a great experience. Will definitely drive out of my way from San Antonio to eat here again. Only disappointment was the tea, personally I'm not a Louisiana tea type of person.
