“Food is good, but employees and one of their managers are not very alert and attentive. Multiple times my order needed to be corrected and when it was finally ready it just sat at the end of their counter for almost 5 minutes while a manager walked around it oblivious to the fact no one was brining it to a table so I finally walked up and got it myself. In the end the food quality is good, the environment is clean but like usual the employee and management quality is far off what it should be, lacking common sense and awareness.”

Papis favorite is the menudo and mom enjoys trying new things but loves the food. “Love this place! Food has a slight twist to traditional Mexican food, but it's pretty darn close to the real deal and doesn't include enchiladas with *yellow* cheese. Variety is a little lacking since several dishes are variations on enchiladas, but you'll get a good portion with sides (their fries are 👌🏼), and spicy frijoles a la charra. You can also pick up boxes of traditional, homemade cookies. Try the sopes and entomatadas with a cold Joya or agus fresca!!”

The restaurant is fairly dark but it creates a beautiful ambiance. We went on a Tuesday so the menu was smaller. We will definitely be back it was an amazing date night”

“I had three different types of gorditas: papas en salsa roja, frijoles con queso, y rajas con queso. Good portion for the price. I wasn't able to finish them. My husband was able to finish them and eat a dessert, tota chocolate con crunch. He enjoyed the food and was full after. He stated that the desert was "okay" and wouldn't recommend it. The meal we purchased came with 3 gorditas and a drink. If you'd like an agua fresca it's an additional 55 cents.”

“Was surprised to see a small line, but was overjoyed at the fact that I might be able to make it back to my apartment before my lunch break was over. I was wrong, I made it back 10 minutes late, but it was a risk I chose to take nonetheless. The food was exceptional, service was as expected, however just have two complaints of sorts. One, I was missing an order of fries and I rarely ever check the bag before taking off. Granted, when it comes to fast-food I should get into the habit of doing so, but I'll learn that lesson when I learn it. Other than that, I had little to no intention of bringing it up to whoever was inside because for one I was in PJs. Two, it would've been longer I'd have to wait. The other issue is just my preference of chili and cheese of my chili cheese fries. Looks like someone spilled some of it on the fries instead of actually putting it on them intentionally. Maybe that's how they do it, maybe I got the sh-t end of the deal. Either way, wasn't too content. Other than that, don't see why I wouldn't return again. Just not any time soon, this pandemic sh-t gotta end.”

“We ordered the Brisket, Sausage and smoked turkey plate with potato salad and macaroni salad with peach cobbler for dessert. For a party of 9. Unfortunately the Brisket was dry unless you put alot of sauce on it. The smoked turkey did not taste like anything at all. No smoke flavor or turkey flavor just salt and it was very dry and chewy. The sausage on the other hand was very juicy and delicious. The potato salad and macaroni salad was OK nothing to rave about. And the peach cobbler was not good at all. Overall 3 stars and I'm pushing it. And that's because we went in early around 11:30 to get fresh meat. But we were all disappointed.”
