I would add a photo, but I was hungry and just couldn't wait to eat. I actually wanted to go pick up another Cheeseburger! I highly recommend this place, oh and it's super inexpensive. I ate Breakfast and lunch for $7.50! Now that's my kind of restaurant.”

“First time visiting and all I can say is that I have no complaints. The kimechie fries was very tasty. Our host was pleasant and she made some good suggestions. My son's had the nachos with grilled chicken, they said it was too sweet but otherwise it was good. Hubby had the chicken tacos, no complaints there.”

“Favorite place to eat soups and pitas. All the locations have tremendous consistency in their design, which I love. The food is always fresh, healthy and delicious. The sweet waters are too sweet for my taste but I filled them up with ice and it does the job. The waiting time is significant when they are crowed and really fast when they are quite slow.”

“I love coming here. The food is always delicious. I call ahead and get there just before it’s ready for pickup to choose fresh produce, cold beverages, and a few salsas to go along with my order. The avocados are always ripe. The limes are big and juicy. It’s always clean. And the staff is always really friendly. Props to this company for the way they run things. I chose to leave a review today because of the exceptional service Patty and the rest of the kitchen staff provided. They went out of their way to exceed expectations & considering I walked in at a later time than usual and to see them giving it 110% to the very end of the day was really gratifying as a customer. I had a brisket sandwich it was pretty good but a bit dry near the edges, The baked potato was huge, the mac and cheese was pretty good as well and their sweet tea was great. “Everything was delicious as always. He had 3 separate plates all came with the right flavour and temperature. We ask for the butter and cream of the baked potato on the side, and it came out very nicely put. They didn't have thousands island dressing at the moment. The staff was quick and very polite. The missing star is because we ask for two drinks and they didnt have the mixers, the waiter mentioned it is a new item and the mixer hasnt arrive, so, we missed out on the Hurricane drink. The Colada drink with the raspberry was delicious and you can barely feel the rum.”

“This 4th of July and we were blessed to find Sombrero restaurant OPEN for business on Jackson/Ridge Road in McAllen. We were a party of four; my wife, her sister, my brother law and I. We weren’t actually sure about this restaurant because none of us had been there before. Thank GOD 🙏🏼 our experience turned out to be a good one. Overall the restaurant was clean, the staff and our waitress was helpful, friendly, and attentive. Each plate was freshly cooked to our satisfaction (see attached photos). We were all in agreement that the prices were satisfying to say the least. Today, Sombrero’s fulfilled our expectations and for that reason we plan to return. It was so good, I felt it was only right to take time to endorse Sombrero’s Restaurant and celebrate the good food that was served. Honestly, I won’t rate a bad experience because I don’t believe in bringing a business down by bad mouthing them. I prefer in that case to address my complaint directly with the manager so any problem I experience can be corrected on the spot. The world is full of bad news, we choose to celebrate the good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food isn’t special. We ordered our burgers medium and they came well done, with very few condiments. The hot sauce selection is limited to Tabasco only. The restaurant isn’t very noisy, which is a plus. It’s a decent restaurant and perfectly fine for a basic meal.
