“I stopped for a quick bite at the Dairy Queen on South Shary Rd. After scanning the menu, I chose the crispy tacos. The tacos come three to an order, I added two extra tacos to order. I also wanted a coke zero instead of my usual iced tea. I really liked the fountain drink dispenser Dairy Queen uses, it has lots of selections. For example, I pushed the Cole zero icon and the display pops up more icons with like six different types of Coke Zero flavors. I opted for Cherry with a big splash of Vanilla. My tacos were ready in no time, I barely filled my cup. I asked for salsa for my tacos, ( a must have) I was given a handful of packets. So I immediately noticed how fresh everything looked, and added my salsa. The tacos are good, the salsa really doesn't kick it up a notch. Overall a good experience and worth going back. Lastly, I noticed how clean the establishment is kept. I even checked out the restrooms for more confirmation and I was impressed. Great job Dairy Queen on Shary.”

“This place is really beautiful inside, i normally don't talk about the staff so early in my reviews but I must say they are extremely attentive, polite and friendly, they are an example of what every waiter/waitress should strive to be. The breakfast here is delicious, the huevos en salsa de chicharrón are delicious, for $10.50 you get 2 eggs, chilaquiles (or potatoes a la mexicana), refried beans, chicharrón prensado and a gordita. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium, the salsa for the eggs is incredible, the chicharrón they use on the eggs is not the cheap pork rinds many restaurants use, this is real pork meat called chicharrón prensado, the potatoes are delicious specially the way they cook them, the refried beans are pretty tasty and the gordita is cooked in lard which makes it taste amazing. The corn tortillas are pretty good, the flour tortillas are just okay. Overall an amazing breakfast experience is what you will get of you come here.”

“Monica was my bartender on a Saturday night. She was professional, quick, and knew exactly what she was doing behind the bar. “Yes, yes, and more yes’!!!! Attention all burger gods, this place is the burger bonanza of Mission TX, also home of the grapefruit, yeah!! As you walk in, there is a bunch of eye candy all over the walls, great music, overall, great ambience. We were greeted by the staff once we opened the doors, seated right away, our waiter was so attentive, and helpful. As you’ll see from the videos and pics, I ordered the special of the day, the John Wayne burger and chili cheese fries, so amazing! Also ordered the chicken wings from the appetizer menu, the buffalo chicken strips with fries from the kids menu and a mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato fries, all were so savory and delicious. “First time here. The place is small but comfortable. We started out the the choriqueso which the served with flour tortillas. It was very good but wish it had been corn tortillas instead. I had the 3 beef corn tortilla tacos which came with rice and beans. The beef needed salt in my opinion. The rice and beans were excellent. My wife had the caldo the res. She said the caldo was bland at best. The piece of meat they gave her had a lot of cartilage. Before I forget to mention the iced tea was great.”

“I remember the old Yokos on 10th...so wanted to try this one out and my wife and I loved it. I was actually surprised at how small the place is...the Yokos on 10th was a good size...this one felt small. It was basically just us there so service was great. We started off with coconut shrimp and the cucumber crab salad (forgot the name) and wow....great start! I love cucumber salad with sweet vinegar...this one tasted fresh...the cucumber was crisp and cut just right. My wife had the coconut shrimp...they were fried just right and the sweet chili sauce was perfect. Loved it... My wife ordered a ramen spicy soup with shrimp...I ordered the Neptune and Sexy Lady rolls. The soup was perfect...it had large strips of shrimp. Honestly, I was expecting those small "frozen" type shrimps but these felt fresh...they felt meaty. The vegetables with the soup didn't feel frozen...and the slow heat with soup definitely creeps up on you. My rolls were quite delicious! They had a good ratio of filling to rice...each flavor was pronounced. Loved their eel sauce and the spicy mayo... It is a little pricey overall but I'll be honest...I didn't feel robbed walking out because the food was delicious. Definitely recommend!”

“So their slogan is, "a superior sandwich", which after trying it and comparing to Subway or Jimmy John's or even Firehouse subs, I tend to agree. The bread was light, flavorful and slightly toasted. It might depend on what sandwich you get, my friend had one and she found it to taste like a normal sandwich. I got the Cali club and thought it was delicious. Plus they have fries. “I did take out at Gorditas Dona Lula located on Shary Rd. one block north of Expressway 83. The flavors here represent South Texas in a big way and are presented in variety of delicious combinations. The combo supreme Gordita is one you have to try, add either the red or green salsa and Boom! Taste explosion. The nopal (cactus) in red sauce on point, and you gotta love the crunchy chicharron. There are meatless selections available, besides the cactus, there is Poblano pepper and cheese, and one of my new faves the grilled Panela cheese Gordita. I keep going back to Dona Lula's to try different flavors and have never been dissatisfied.”

“I went to Wingstop to pick up food for a group of friends hanging out with me at home. I went to the one on the expressway just west of Shary road in Mission. I ordered 50 pieces of wings, fries, and cheese sauce. The order came with celery and carrot sticks, ranch, and ketchup. We ordered, Mango Habanero, really good, BBQ, Original buffalo, Lemon Pepper, and Teriyaki. All flavors were on point. I liked that the cheese sauce was not at all thick but creamy, perfect for dipping the fries. I recommend Wingstop and would definitely go back for more”

“Came in to the drive thru asked for a #2 meal and paid to make my meal large. I got a large drink but they gave me small fries. Asked for a dipping sauce and was told that they charge for that. They don't check before handing off your food and then give you attitude if you tell them they got it wrong. This is in every Burger King I got to nowadays. Sad.”
