“One of my favorite snack stands in Mission! The prices are very affordable and the raspas and churros are very delicious. We ordered Piña Colada, Cherry, and Rainbow ($2.50 each, size M) and churros with dip La Lechera ($3.50) and there's other dips like Hershey's chocolate and caramel. Theres also single churros or ice cream float with churros. They have many flavors of raspas, some are milk, others with no sugar. I highly recommend for you to come by one day and try this place. You can also park at the side of the stand to enjoy your snack.”

“The lady is extremely friendly. Flavors are bold and distinct. The shaved ice is so delicate its like frozen cotton. Plus they have sugar free flavors! One bite of the raspa and it hurls me back to my childhood when my cousins gathered in the front yard to play colors. It reminded me there is still good in this world. Where sometimes your worries melt away in a frozen cup of sunshine.”

“The environment is very spacious and colorful. The decor is amazing to admire. The servers started off kind of rude, but changed their attitude as the night progressed. The food was good but needed seasoning. It was my second time coming here since they renovated and I prefer the carne asada botana plate for a party meal than individual meals. That's my honest opinion and hope to see improvement if I come back.”

“I went by Aces BBQ with my wife for lunch. It's located on 495 between Taylor Rd. and Shary Rd. In Mission. Aces has been around for ten years and they know how to do BBQ. I've eaten here before and have never been disappointed, but today I wanted to try something different. When you walk in you head to the counter and place your order and the cashier brings you your order. Aces has signs advertising farm raised Catfish and I was feeling it, so I ordered it. My wife ordered the brisket tacos. My plate came with fries, Cole slaw, and house made tarter sauce. The fish was lightly breaded in corn meal and deliciously crispy. My wife's tacos came with lots of brisket, rice, pinto beans, and home made salsa. She really enjoyed them. I noticed the dessert cabinet when we ordered our lunch and the brownies looked really good, so when we finished our meals we shared one with ice cream. The brownies were not chewy but moist and had walnuts for a nice texture touch. I could have eaten another one, it was so good. The portions at Aces are generous so you definitely get your money's worth and you will leave satisfied.”

“Not the best Mexican breakfast in the area. However, we were satisfied. The coffee was good. Our breakfast plate servings were large. Food lacked the taste we get from an authentic Mexican dish. Large space, plenty of seating. Very clean place too”

“First time here ordered a burger combo. Staff was friendly taking order and bringing it to table but that's all I saw of them never returned. Burger was good bacon need to more crispy for my taste. Burger was not over cooked or to dry. Fries were good and nice and hot temp wise.”

“I got there 1 hour before closing so the full menu was not available. The tacos were pretty small in my opinion. I also ordered a papa asada and I had to ask them to take it back because the cheese had a weird smell and taste. I really did enjoy the tacos though. The service was good. I'm not sure if I would go back.”

“I'm VERY picky when it comes to food quality and freshness. I tried this place for the 1st time and I was surprisingly & very impressed. I ordered the cashew chicken and shrimp spring rolls. The chicken, veggies, and even the cashews all tasted fresh. No weird old re-heated after taste. The spring rolls were stuffed with whole shrimps and crisped to perfection, not stale or soggy but perfectly crunchy. I've found my go-to whenever I'm craving Asian/Chinese cuisine. Kudos to all the cooks there, you all are doing an amazing job with the food. Keep it up ❤❤❤”

“The place is nice and clean. Lots of room to dine in. Waited in line a bit, assuming they’re still getting used to things but staff was very friendly. I would recommend getting a double meat, waffle fries were nice and crisp. Will be back to try their chicken sandwich and eventually enchiladas.”

“Taqueria La Tostada has excellent food. I tried a tostada and taco. They were delicious and great portions for the price. The combo I had could easily be shared by two people. I also had the rice with Mole and it was great! The best part was the customer service. The woman who took our order was patient and explained every item on the menu. And, throughout our meal, the employees continued to be attentive and helpful. I recommend you give this place a try.”

“Wanted something light-ish.🤪 Fried cream cheese with jalapeños. My wife and I chose the Texas style chicken salad on avocado. It was AWESOME!!! It had cilantro pesto, bell pepper and grapes. I also had tomato basil and she had the French onion soup. I also had a Paloma. Great ambiance and super friendly staff.”

“Absolutely DELIGHTFUL. Pizza was better than any I’ve had for such a price. It’s about $6-7 for a cheese or pepperoni pie. The pizza is very cheesy, with not a ton of sauce. The crust doesn’t have anything fancy on it, but the texture is perfectly soft. Definitely make it a point to get a meal here when I visit this area.”

“I went in on Thursday and received great customer service from the cashier Belinda. She was super sweet and even recommended the Hawaiian and Korean sauces for our wings and I do not regret getting them. She even offered us to do a survey to get free rolls which I had never even heard of. Who doesn’t want free rolls?? Will definitely be coming back just for her. Service was 100% 💖”

“Stopped by to get ice cream cones for my son and I. After paying I asked, if one asks for triple dipped if they would actually dip the ice cream three times?, to which our cashier replied, sure. So she triple dipped our cones. Super sweet young lady, happy to work there as well as all the other staff. Definitely recommend this place to others.”

“Their food is okay, The carbonara pasta was pretty good, it has a good combination of ingredients but the sauce could be better I wasn't great. The bacon cheese bread was really big and it did taste good, it had big pieces of bacon inside. Finally the chicken wasn't really good, it had a strange taste from the sauce. The employees were friendly enough, could smile a bit more or say welcome/thank you. Overall decent fast food place, many options to choose from.”

“Everything is cooked to perfection. So much flavor. True South Texas style BBQ. Seating is limited, so either arrive early, after the lunch rush, or plan to carry out. Also, bring cash, as credit cards are not accepted.”
