Herd's Burgers

I was told that when in town since I was staying that I had to go here. They make all burgers to order so there is a wait. I was talking to a couple waiting and told them about my recommendation. They said they this place used to be top notch but has slipped lately. I couldn't have agreed more with them. After waiting about 7 to 10 min for my double cheeseburger, I ate it right there on the table. How do you get a made to order burger and immediately eat it and it is barely even room temp? Only sides are potato chips. Guess they are busy because there is not much to choose from in this small town.

These burgers are made from scratch; no pre-shaped frozen patties. They're juicy and seasoned well with crisp, fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Delicious!

We dined outside at one of the shaded picnic tables and enjoyed the cool breeze on a hot day.

Delicious and simple burger! Be sure to bring cash though. Definitely plan to stop by again next time I'm in Jacksboro

It is a small place. Selection was good. And the burger tasted great! I can't imagine how good it would have been with fries!

Stopped by for the first lime last Thursday and was pleasantly surprised. The burgers were delicious and the prices were decent. The inside is very small, but it was not busy when I stopped by. I drove past on Saturday and the parking lot was packed. This was the first burger place that I have been too that was featured on the Texas bucket list. It is worth a visit.
