“We were close, so we decided to do lunch at Elijah's. I chose to get the Wednesday Special which was Chicken Pot Pie with sides of mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. My wife opted for the Meat Loaf with sides of Baked Squash Casserole and a salad. The Chicken Pot Pie was way better than I expected!!! It came baked in its own dish, I was expecting a portion out of a casserole dish. No, it was baked in its own bowl and it was a good portion and very good!!! Loved it. My wife's Meat Loaf came as a very good sized slice that she said was very good!!! Our waiter was on top of everything from getting our orders and getting our food out very quickly! We had iced tea for our drinks. We really enjoyed our lunch.”

“Really good food! So nice to go to a restaurant that is not afraid to use seasoning on their food. We have the fried shrimp and fish and that 1 meal fed 2 people it was so big. Our friends had the grilled fish and shrimp over rice with the spicy red sauce and let me tell you.. It was all amazing! We will definitely be coming back!”
