“The atmosphere and service were great. But seeing as "Beans and Burgers" is the name of the place, we figured both would be exceptional. The burger was a very healthy half-pound hand-formed patty that was charred nicely... But overcooked and dry. The beans were nothing special. Just flavorless plain pinto and over-flavored Ranch-style canned beans. I expected pinto beans cooked with seasonings such as onions, peppers and bacon. The atmosphere, service, substantial burger and free ice cream got them to 4 stars. Cook the burger to no more than medium well and slow cook beans from scratch and it would be 5 stars. Small clean restroom.”

Mas queso & this taco place are really my favorite Mexican food places to eat locally. Only wished the tacos were $1 like they are in Dallas. We would go more often if it was less expensive. It usually ends up costing us around $40 to take our family of 4.”

“We always like breakfast at Country Pride and this location was good. Food is always consistent and service is always pretty good. Our server Maxie was a bit rough around the edges at first but smoothed out after a bit. She appears to be grumpy at first but she really is a nice person deep down. At 81 years young I'm sure she has experienced her share of crazy/rude unappreciative travelers at this location. We just kept saying we appreciated her service and she did a good job. The restaurant is pretty clean and has a nice quite atmosphere. Prices are fair for quality and quantity. We will stop in again when back this way on our travels.”

“Restaurant had a menu plus a reasonable and good buffet with a good salad bar, soup, several vegetables and entree choices, even at 10 at night. Nice folks. Semi side was full up but they let us stay out at the edge of their parking lot with our camper over night no hassle at all. Clean rest rooms and looked like a nice big store, plus a couple fast food choices in addition to the restaurant.”
