“My husband and I were in Saturday for the day and smelt the awesome aroma of Klein Smokehaus when we walked past it. We stopped in before leaving just to check it out and were greeted in a very friendly manner. We each got a chopped beef sandwich and I got a small potato salad and sweet tea. The sandwich was loaded with meat and I have to admit that it was the best that I have ever eaten. It was so moist and flavorful. The potato salad was also excellent. The tea was wonderful and very fresh, it’s hard to find sweet tea like that anymore. It reminded me of the tea that my mother used to make when I was a child. We will definitely be visiting Klein Smokehouse again on another visit to Boerne. Highly recommended!”

“We visited for the first time and had a great experience. I highly recommend to make reservations for a tasting so that you can try everything they have to offer. It’s inexpensive and worth it. Susan was our tasting guide and she was great! She was well educated on the wines and history of the vineyard. it’s obvious that she loves her job and I appreciate that. They also offer a nice, big outdoor area to sit and enjoy the property. It is very family friendly. They offer an opportunity to pet and feed the goats and llama as well. They also provide a 21 and up seating section, which Is nice if you don’t have kids. Brenda assisted us with our orders at the bar and she was super friendly. They observe COVID safety and social distancing guidelines very well. My only complaint is the price of the food. It was mediocre and the portions are small for the price. Minus that, we had an overall great experience and will be returning.”

“We're Ole New Orleans Cajun folks and haven't had such GREAT Boiled Crawfish since we left Bayou country. Everything else was also Good and esp. Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, and Etouffee were like old home style cook'n. Eat in or Take Out, prices very reasonable. Definitely will be back.”

“Wonderful experience! The food and service were superb! The owner stops by each table to ensure you're satisfied. The Spanish guitarist starts at 6:00 pm Friday and Saturday nights, and sets the mood without blasting over your conversation. The dining room has a tremendous floor to ceiling decorative bookcase at one end. Oh...the place has poor signage, but probably because it's still relatively new. It's an old wood building with a small sign that says "Mexican restaurant." Parking is adjacent to the restaurant, but very close and wheelchair accessible. I highly recommend.”

“A lovely little place for lunch and to pick up a gift or something to spoil yourself. They have a short menu of some amazing sandwiches- hot and cold... the Viva Texas is my favorite! Lots of gourmet goodies including a good selection of chocolates, candies, jellies etc for gifting. Lots of gluten free options as well. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. This is a nice afternoon stop if you’re here on vacation or a good place to grab lunch anytime. I love to sit out on their patio - it always seems to have a great breeze :)”

“A friend mentioned this place and we decided to go try it out. When we got there we were told that it would be a little bit of a wait but during the pandemic that's understandable. Since I am not from the states I asked the guy at the store for some suggestions, specifically an old fashioned American candy. He was lovely, he showed me different ones through the shop and explain a little bit about them. I bought moon pies! Not disappointing at all. ???? (chocolate flavor) The selection they have is good and for all tastes. I highly recommend to check it out if you are a tourist or a local. I’m sure you’ll find something you will want to try.
