The people who run it are friendly but don't put out large portion during the lunch and dinner rush, so turns into waiting 10-15 minutes to fill your to go container. “The food was bland but the salsa was delicious! The margarita had ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL IN IT???? and there was a lady sweeping around dust "WHILE" i was eating! She even swept the booth "SEATS" with the same broom she swept the floor with then she mopped the entire restaurant while people was there. I was hoping no one fell on the slick floor. “First time arriving here can be a little confusing. The person I think was the hostess was sitting down and we couldn’t see her immediately when we walked in. She then told us we could find out own place to sit which we did. Eventually a young lady brought us menus and we chose what we eat. Highly recommend the 2 pork chops meal. “This review is from a different viewpoint than most. I have only been here with two groups of about 40 people each, not as an individual. I can say that, out of the 80+ people there were no complaints about food or service. There were many complements! We had prime rib and salmon, all prepared perfectly and attractively served. The bourbon pecan pie was a huge hit. The food arrived quickly and at the right temperature. The owners, who opened the restaurant 48 years ago, worked to make sure everything went well. The two servers were amazingly efficient. The restaurant itself, though not bad, could use an upgrade to the decor to enhance the ambiance. There is a missed opportunity there, especially in the upstairs dining room. I would not hesitate to recommend Kloesel's to anyone.”
