My only complaint...the hours posted online and the hours they actually operate are not the same. If you go after 9pm...call ahead, may save a trip. “I had a really good experience previously at a Taco Villa, and I was excited to stop in Lubbock so I could try a different location along our trip. This time, I was disappointed. The quality of the food was not up to the same standard, and there was barely any chicken in the chicken bowl that cost almost $9. The employees (including the manager) said the chicken is proportioned, so I guess that is all you get for the money. The manager did finally refund the money, so I guess there's that, but I was unfortunately disappointed with this experience. I will not be looking forward to my next stop in Lubbock.”

“Chips and salsa were delicious. The queso is very bland and a little cold. The wife really enjoyed her fluatas. They were fresh and delicious. The carne Guisada burrito was pretty underwhelming. “Unique gourmet 🌭 hot dogs. Good selection of beers, porters, & ales. While the hot dog recipes are flavorful and good, I found the included bag of "convenient store" chips, self opened by the customer, disappointing. Hand made and house flavored chips would be a more complimenting side. A variety of beverages on tap with different taste profiles and ABV was amazing. Fast kitchen. Can't wait for the next visit through town. Reasonable priced for food and beverages!”

“Capital Pizza has a lunch buffet from 11:00 till 2:00. My only wish, is that we could have been there at 11:00 instead of 1:45 when it was about to shut down.Their pizza crust was good and the hot sausage and mushroom pizza was good too. Other varieties, due to our late arrival, were not as fresh. But I bet they would have been great had we been there during the prime buffet time. The Adult buffet price was 9.99. Kids buffet was 6.99.”

“I came here with my wife for a bite to eat. It was a little weird feeling to me because when you walk inside, it is carryout only, and you have order with a person behind a plexiglass window that has a cover on it that is only removed to make your money and get your food through. These people have taken COVID prevention to the next level, to say the least. I am not saying this is a bad thing; it just felt a little wired to me. Our order came out fast, and we went to a nearby city park to find a picnic table to sit down and eat. The food was tasty, and we enjoyed our meal at the park.”

“I bought (2) subs and a large pepperoni pizza. All the ingredients were fresh and the food was freshly made. I asked to double the meat on the (2) subs. There was a great deal of meat on them as I asked. I have started to eat there instead of eating at “ other” pizza places because it’s not greasy and it’s fresh! I bought (2) 10” subs and one large pizza for $49.”

“Midnight Shift is a beautiful establishment located by a cute hotel. The restaurant was clean, had a modern rustic interior and had a very limited menu for lunch options. We ordered the BLT, Fries and Grilled Chicken sandwich. The BLT was good with the bacon being crispy. The offerings do not come with a side so you must order it separately. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was a surprise. The chicken was chunked instead of a whole breast. The chunks easily fell out of the bun as there was nothing like melted cheese to hold it together. It had candied pecans and the mixture of ingredients gave it a unique flavor combination. Service was disappointing. She was friendly so not directly disappointed with the server. They had only one server employee that also handed the register so service was slow and water glass remained empty.”
