    Loved this spot as a kid when I visited my grand parents. As an adult I usually get the brisket and sausage plate with beans and jalapeno Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is great and the beans are pretty traditional for a BBQ joint. I don't care for the creamy style potato salad. The burgers there are very good and a large size too. The wait staff are friendly and consistently good at service. My 9nly complaint is the serving size of the two meat plate for the price was a very small portion. I did address that issue on my last visit and the woman working the counter offered to get me a few slices of brisket to go. That was considerate.

    Good food, big portions at reasonable prices, super friendly waitresses. The only negative I could see was that the barbecue sauce was watery but it still had a good flavor so all in all it is definitely a place I would visit again.

    Good cooking. The food came out fast. The disabled veteran parking right in the front was appreciated. It is going to be the new place we meet to have lunch and drop off my son on the 1/2 way to Nanna's trip.

    Ribs were tasty, and my brother's chicken fried steak made me jealous.
