Seemed like a fun spot, nice atmosphere, but prices were way high. All the burgers are "sliders" which just means your paying the same price for a much smaller burger. Sides and drinks cost extra on top of the already expensive meals. Portions were upsettingly small for the cost. That said, the food was quite tasty but I won't be returning.
They were awesome! A Michael Jackson tribute band was playing on the stage outside and everything was fantastic. Lines at the bar went quickly, and it was crowded but not enough to make you uncomfortable. Overall a great experience.
We were there for lunch on a rainy Saturday. I really wanted to like this place. It had a unique atmosphere, and I can imagine it's a fun spot to see a concert. I would return and do that if I lived in Waco, but I'd eat dinner somewhere else first. I had the catfish sliders with onion rings. The catfish was overly salty, and the onion rings were more like onion pieces. They were also overcooked. My husband had the chicken tenders and fries, and my daughter had the brisket sliders and tots, and they both said they were so-so. My son had the burger sliders. I think he liked his food better than any of us liked ours. He said he didn't get enough to eat though. I would say it was because he's a hungry teenager, but, for the price, I think there should have been more food. I gave it three stars because I can see how it would be a fun place to see a band play in the evening. However, the food was more of a 2. I'm really sorry. I wanted to like it.
My husband ordered a "big heaping mess". He really liked it. I ordered the brisket tacos. I did NOT like them. They were so greasy. The grease was pouring out the ends. I could only eat half of one. The fries were good. The bartender greeted us right away. She is what gives it a better star rating.
There are only 3 stalls for women, or a row port-a-potty. When there is live music, they keep the jukebox on loud inside. There isnt really enough seating, and for older famous acts, older customers attend... But have almost nowhere to sit. The half dozen employees I encountered were pretty nice and polite though. The concert menu is mainly sliders, but the brisket ones were delicious.
