“The atmosphere is very modern and clean with a good selection of music. The wait staff was awesome! I order the Fish and Chips was 3 nice size pieces of cod on a bed of French fries. taste was average and the tartar sauce condiment cup was small. The string French fries were over fried and tasted greasy even with ketchup but you get a good portion size. My daughter got the Lobster and Shrimp Grill Cheese with mash potatoes. She said that it was very tasty and the portion size was good. I thought the prices were too high but the place was packed. I won't be going back because it's above my budget but I would recommend people try it at least one time.”

“I had the veggie ramen and my husband had the chicken rich ramen and both were so good. We also had the vegetable rolls and they had so much flavor and were fresh and crispy. They also mentioned that they're gonna start serving sushi sometime next week. We're excited to come back!”

“Tasty!! They are new and under soft opening now so it might take a little bit longer for the food to come out but it’s worth the wait. Delicious!! Also they are sort in staffs so I can understand that they have to work hard.”

“The atmosphere is beautiful and festive! The bartender was friendly and made great drinks and the food was delicious. It was also nice to be served by the owners. They shared their favorite dishes and that everything is fresh...I fell in love with Huaco Eatery and now I've added the Lounge to my BEST PLACES TO DINE list!!!”

“Delicious and authentic, NO Longer CASH ONLY. Their burritos are huge and delicious. They occasionally forget to give you things you purchased. Menudo is good, but while it always has lots of meat, sometimes it had more than others. They may forget to give you your extra tortillas or sides that are supposed to accompany a dish, so be sure to double check your order. Green salsa is great!”

“Great food at a reasonable price. Managed to book a table effortlessly but ended up enjoying our meal at the bar. Food was outstanding (especially the goulash) and their own new beers were exceptional. Cocktails need a bit of industry standard oomph though. Impeccably clean throughout and friendly staff made for a very pleasant evening.”

“My Sweet Victory sandwich was yummy. It was made to order by Brennan and Matt who took the extra time to listen to my food allergy concerns. As a matter of fact, Matt went above and beyond to make sure I would enjoy my sandwich and be okay. Bring your appetite because the sandwich is good.”

“I’m not sure what other reviews see that I don’t. This is an OK Thai place. Ordered coconut curry and pad Thai. **IMPORTANT** the spice levels are not accurate. Got medium spice on the coconut curry and it was 🔥. If you have no spice tolerance, ask for negative heat (sarcasm). Other notes: 1. The sticky rice and mango is really tasty! 2. Pad Thai is just OK. Noodles were to glassy in texture and too thin, and 1/3 of the container was just sprouts. 3. Coconut curry sauce is good except the heat level is way off. Super spicy even on medium. Also, usually there’s more than just green peppers in this dish. Bamboo shoots, red bell pepper, and basil leaves would usually be incorporated. 3. The rice was not great.”

“Been here a few times, it’s one of the better breakfast places in Waco. We waited about about 5-10 minutes using the check in website to check in. Service was quick to get us drinks and take our food order. After we ordered it took a bit for our food to come out. Maybe 25-30 minutes. The music kept fluctuating in volume which was a bit distracting. Also someone was messing with the lights. The lights in the restaurant turned on and off a few times but no big deal. The food was mostly very great. Mexican mash is super flavorful. Everything was cooked really well except the biscuits and gravy was cold. One single egg on the side was charged 4.05 with surprising and a bit of a rip off since a lot of the items were just barely more than that for a larger amount of food. Other than the biscuits and gravy being cold, overcharged for a single egg, and the food taking a bit to come out it was great. We enjoyed it!”

“1st time at Maria Mezcaleria and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed it all. From the chips, salsa and beans to a queso dip, mezcal drinks, food and dessert. All of it was delicious! As we are previous restaurant owners we tend to critique hard. But the restaurant was beautiful and cozy, food was great. Only issue was maybe they are still working out kinks with staff serving and cleaning but they will get it. No doubt. All were friendly. We are local so we will definitely be back.”

“Tacos were flavorful and for mini tacos they are generous with the meat. The prices are fair. A nice surprise with the sautéed onions and serranos.”

“Made plans with friends to stop at this new Waco restaurant at Camp Fimfo - glad we did. Sitting outside on a Saturday with some live music was great. The food was even better. Had the Saturday special pork chop - table had a pizza as an appetizer and a s’mores dessert. Really great food. Chef Sean Kelley is a Waco staple - you definitely need to give this place a try.”

“Let me start of with this.. Food was pretty good. Our server was on point till the table clearing. Parking is a dirt lot find a spot and go. I was disappointed with the small menu options. And to me when you say Texas cuisine you think of country style cooking, fried chicken, okra, chicken fried steaks or even hamburger steaks just examples. The hostess bout ran my mother over trying to return to her station. No excuse me, nothing. You would think this day and age you could get a changing station in the men's room manager didn't really seem to care but did listen. On a good note good atmosphere good music selection. Food was hot and came out with a quickness.”
