“This was a VERY pleasant and random find for us here in Midland. The food is fully of FRESH flavors and is not completely drowned in various seasonings. All the dishes appear to be very deliberately prepared in order to be complimentary to what it is paired with so that no one single item is over powering. It was so good and so impressive, we went back the very next day to try additional items on the menu. Highly recommended under all circumstances, but especially if you are wanting a break away from the traditional heavy and greasy American eating.”

Each appetizer and main course was excellently prepared, and had us perfectly full. An extensive wine list, you’ll certainly find something for everyone. Highly recommend for a nice night out, special occasions, or a romantic dinner spot.”

At other locations I’ve been to, I usually have to ask & there are times that I even forget to ask about my JumBurrito card points/rewards. “The food was fantastic and the environment was amazing but I want to point out that the Queen of Texas Queen of Tex-Mex music Selena ate at this restaurant. You can see by the picture I posted. Folks I got goosebumps. I normally don't get this way but to know that's such an icon to music and to Texas ate at this restaurant and that I could be drinking from the same cup that she drank from... iblows my mind. Coming back to the review of the food I finished my plate and that says a lot.”

“We've heard good things about this place since we've come to Midland, and I'm actually pretty impressed with Garlic Press. All the staff were very nice and attentive, we came during dinner rush on a Saturday and our waiter never missed a beat. Everything came out at a good time. Everything we ordered was very fresh, well seasoned and constructed. Scallops were cooked perfectly, and delicious. Risotto was out of this world. The banana pudding cheesecake was hands down one of the best cheesecake I've ever had. The only things that we didn't like were just preference things, but everything down to the flavored oil and bread tasted great. They even had really good water. and yeah it's expensive... But I'd say it's worth it for a special occasion. Look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Edit: their brunch is fantastic too!”

“Domino's what's going on how is it that a three-topping pizza cost more than a specialty pizza? How is it y'all can just make whatever price up and consumers are supposed to be happy with that. Why is it on your app you can still purchase a 799 pan pizza yet you can't come into the store and purchase it? Doesn't seem quite right. If y'all can do all this price changing and swapping and coupons and all that good stuff why can't you satisfy a customer with the $7.95 pizza. Instead a three topping pizza cost me over $13. Maybe we should work on being more customer friendly. Sure would go a long way to purchase and that my next pizza maybe from someone else. Price fixing in charging what you feel just doesn't seem right. Why don't you try working on it Domino's and do what's right for the customers.”

“No waiting to get in. Great for Sunday lunch/ @1pm. Friendly staff, food was pretty good. Had a small issue with my order, asked for replacement, and got things taken care of somewhat. I love the chips and salsa, rice and guacamole. My friend's order was perfect! I didn't care for one of the items on my plate, but enjoyed the Taco! “Used to visit this location a lot during high school and always loved it, I was back in town and wondered if it was the same. It is, service can take a bit long at times, but the staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Food was still good too. It’s a fast food friend chicken joint, the chicken won’t always be fresh but it should always be hot, and it definitely was.”

“Stopped for gas and quick potty break. The customer service girl, Mary, was nice and friendly. She chatted with all the customers that came in. The store is clean and kept up and the floors were clean. The restroom could use a little more cleaning though. There's an ATM and lottery machine inside and no issues with the tap-to-pay machine. “Stopped by after checking reviews. Wow I am very happy I stopped here. The parking lot is small and can be full during busy hours. The lady taking our order doesn't know English but she tried her best and did great getting our order but since there was numbers assigned to our meal it made it easy. I had lamb birria tacos and my wife had the half chicken meal she shared with our daughter. My meal was phenomenal and I cannot give it more than the 5 stars. My wife loved her meal as well. “Service? Great. Beer? Cold. Wait time? None(Even at 7PM in Midland on Friday night) Food? Absolutely delicious. I think this is genuinely the first place I have been to that the wings literally fall off the bone. Picking them up, the meat would pull itself off and look clean. Wings were delicious, service wasn't lacking in either the bar or outside of which I sat in both. The only problem I have, which is why I moved outside, is the music inside is deafening. But outside? 👌👌👌 Best part? Everything is $4! No hidden fees! Will for sure be going more times!!”

“Had a great lunch here yesterday. A couple things to know, the line is slow. But, the bbq is good. I guess it goes as the saying “it pays to be patient”. The service was kind and friendly. The meats were tender and juicy, The peach cobbler perfect. I loved the decor both inside and out, creating a really cool oil industry/rugged atmosphere for eating and having fun with friends. The play area for both adults and kids was a great add. Too bad their bean bags were MIA for playing corn hole, but hey, we were there for the food primarily. :-) definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good bbq.”

“Ate here on 1/4/2023, and had the machaca plate with refried beans and potatoes. Everything was good and the machaca tasty. Comfortable though dated atmosphere, which I enjoy. Coffee is standard American coffee but good. I wi be coming back here. The salsa is fresh and the best I have had in a long time. Restaurant is spacious and comfortable but no booths. Service was excellent.”
