“When it comes to Tex Mex, the big sombrero is the best in the area in my book. A lot of my opinion when it comes to rating Tex Mex comes down to meat and cheese flavors. The fajita meat is flavorful and not the cheaper cuts of meat you find in some places. Things like the cheese enchiladas are what I've come to hold as the standard. You can find real competitors when you get away from the Montgomery area, and foods closer to Mexican (I spend tons of time in Mexico too) but this is my go to in Montgomery.”

“Just ate at Uncle Bob's Montgomery location and the food was fantastic! I had the pulled pork sandwich with french fries and my husband had the hamburger basket with cheese and french fries. My pulled pork sandwich was deliciously smoky and non-greasy. It was the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever eaten, including my own! My husband's hamburger had that rich beefy flavor that an old-fashioned hamburger had! The fries were crispy and hot, just right! Our server was friendly, attentive, always there to keep our glasses filled! The banana pudding was good. Uncle Bob came around not long after we had been seated to check on us and thank us for coming in. We will definitely go back for the food, good service and to support local business!”
