Ramen was great. Ordered for 4 people. Waited about 45 minutes before ramen came out. Then appetizers came out about 15 minutes later...one at a time about 5 minutes apart. Don’t know if it was an off night but the service was not good.
Ordered out for four people with four different ramen bowl. The old fashioned, chicken curry, cha-gyu ,and shifudo spicy miso. The old fashioned was a delight, was told the shifudo octopus wasn't great but the rest of the bowl was nice and spicy, curry got good marks but the beef if the cha-gyu was described as dry . Also had the kakuni bun which was delicious. 6/7 bananas would try again
I absolutely LOVE this place!!
I eat here all the time. They have cans of unsweetened green tea, unsweetened oolong tea, and milk coffee here that are really good.
The appetizers: Their ika (squid) squewers are very flavorful, the takoyaki is to die for because it's so crunchy and fresh, the onigiri is sweet and savory, chicken squewers can be dry sometimes but they have good flavor too.
The ramen: The vegan ramen with the kale noodles and soy broth is WAY BETTER than I ever expected!! I love their kale noodles more than the house noodles actually!! The katsu chicken ramen has good flavor and the crispy chicken can be pretty dry but when it soaks up the ramen broth it's so tasty. The curry chicken ramen was okay, it tastes how you would expect and isn't special in my opinion in comparison to their other bowls.
Yesterday we ordered ramen, tori negima and goyza. Ramen was good, tori was absolutely bad (onion was burned and chicken dry)-I don’t think so that need serve this dish, because chicken is always dry, it’s second time when we try it.
Goyza was good too. They didn’t give to us any napkins, spoon and forks in the bag, not very comfortable to eat
Delicious broth and good kushiyaki. Ramen purist quibbles on the agitama egg needing a bit more time in the marinade and wavy, tsukemen, noodles in the tonkotsu. But great find!
