Shogun Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar

Fantastic food and friendly service. Been here a couple times now. First was hibachi which was delicious and our chef was friendly and entertaining. Second was just dine in for sushi which was amazing. This will be our go to hibachi/sushi place. In addition, anyone complaining in any other reviews about price obviously does not eat at many nice hibachi or sushi restaurants. This place isn't McDonald's. The prices are completely within reason and comparable to any other decent hibachi place.

Quit crying Steven McDaniel. Nobody said hi to me!! Boohoo! Blaming them for judging you when you were judging them. Ignore this guy except for the fact the food WAS amazing. Staff and management were great. Started off with crab puffs and pot stickers. The sauce for the tasted smoky and had that grilled taste to it. Wife had the Beef Ramen bowl which she didn't complain. I had the Cypress Roll which was absolutely delicious. I never tried a fried sushi before, but it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the place.

I ordered a take out sushi twice. Both times they got parts of the order wrong. This happened the first week they were open. Then yesterday 11/05/2020, my daughter and I ate lunch there. Only about 6 people there for lunch. Staff was very attentive. They got both orders correct, and the meal was wonderful, even the same sushi I had ordered before, so they are improving.

The food was pretty good, and descent customer service. I really like the place and it's not far from home. Although I recommend going after 7, since the first time I went there was around 6 and they were extremely busy they couldn’t help everyone. But it gets better after the rush hour. I understand the comments about the customer service and I do agree they need work, but given the fact that I had good times there for dinner you just have to catch them at the right time.
