“Driving down the road and I started to get hungry. Hit food near me and it showed that there was a whataburger 3 miles away. I was skeptical because I was in the middle of no where but sure enough not only a whataburger but a fuel station with diesel and def which my crane was running low on. The food was hot and fresh the staff friendly. I would drive 20 miles out of my way to come back.”

“Absolutely love Allsup's growing up in Parker County Allsup's was my "Go To" convenience store. They have a wide array of items to choose from and the Beef and Bean burritos are a family favorite! I survived on those burritos in my younger years. This new location is very spacious and clean. I am so glad that not only is there 1 Allsup's in Mineral Wells now, but two more are coming to the east and west side of town!”

“It is a nice place . It was very clean . The restrooms were clean with soap , towels . The store was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was also a restaurant but not sure when it opens. The general store had lots of snacks and other items . I would recommend them. It is a nice place to stop .”

“Just bought a small place on PK less than 1 mile from this place. We came during the "off season" for a late lunch and drinks. Very cool venue- and family/kid friendly. I'm glad they are here (after the fact too). Gives me the "classy" feeling, but while staying country. We will definitely be back again!”

“A fusion of Venezuelan , Mexican and American tastes. Everything is made in house. Generous portions at reasonable prices. Food is delicious. We had the one meat plate and a two meat plate. We were divided on the Chopped brisket, I liked it, very tender and tasty, verses too much fat and somewhat bland. The Pork ribs were fantastic! The house made potato salad is quite good, Venezuelan style. Charo beans are really good. They were sold out of the pulled pork when we arrived. The white rice is NOT bland dry rice. It was very good. Order extra flour tortillas so no fist fights break out.”

“The food was tasty, especially the chicken salad sandwich. Homemade French bread. The gumbo did not start with a roux it was more like sausage soup with humongous pieces of okra in it. This day and age it's not appropriate for the owner to start carrying on about her love of the current administration, and how people that burn flags should leave the country. Give me a break.”
