You can get the cheese sticks in mozzarella or Velveeta and they are hand battered and served like a corn dog. Trust me you want to give them a try. No to mention the prices can't be beat either. “Live music was awesome, the crawfish were awesome size for this time of year! LOVE that they had such a variety on the menu and they did NOT charge for condiments. They were very friendly and very quick service. We were there Saturday and Sunday and to be their grand opening it was perfect. Didn’t even wait for our order and it was fresh and HOT! “We make a point to try a new place on birthdays. Today we ate out for my son's birthday and tried Big Fish for the first time. Absolutely love it! Very friendly, great food, and comfortable atmosphere. They even brought him a serving of ice cream with a candle and topped the jukebox for us to play some of the greats. New favorite for family nights out.”

“Extremely good little Mexican joint. It’s definitely one of those hidden gem places and if you didn’t know any better you would drive right past it. DO NOT DRIVE PAST IT TRUST ME! Not only is it the best Mexican food around the area, I would say it’s the best food around period. If they had more of a presence online I think they would get a ton more business. It would also be helpful if they would post their menu online. So glad this place is only 5 mins away from my home. Delicious food, would highly highly recommend.”

“Highly recommend this place. We had a chopped beef and chopped pork sandwich. Both meats were extremely tender and moist. Their homemade BBQ sauce was so good that I wished I had bought a bottle to take home with me. We also liked the potato salad all though it did not compare to the sandwiches. The restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside but the inside is decorated well with wood floors and tables and antiques. We will definately become regulars!”

“This hidden gem on Lake Livingston in Onalaska, Texas is just flat out awesome. Family owned and operated and located at Hwy 190 & FM 356 it's some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten. We stopped in close to closing time as we were unaware of their hours. I ordered the spicy sausage plate and it was like butter. Flavor and spice was spot on, texture as said like butter. My wife got a Brisket loaded Baked Potato sauce on the side. Off the chart delicious. Potato was not dried out, and brisket was like it was just off the pit. The staff, even though we arrived just before closing went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of properly! We both highly recommend this wonderful new restaurant.”

“Great new restaurant with an awesome view of the lake while you dine. Pasta is great. Pork chops are best I've had at a restaurant, thick, tender and juicy and loaded with flavor. Steak was loaded with flavor, tender and juicy. Fried shrimp is great with a light flavorful batter. Cheese sticks are superb. Did not need sauces for any meats as you would not want to cover the flavor. Garlic knots are quite yummy as well. Still a brand new restaurant so be patient as they work out the kinks. Full bar open to the outdoor patio. Cruise your boat on in and dock for a great meal as well. Evening sun beaming through the windows can be a bit hard on the eyes, but the view of the sunset makes it worth it! Only major complaint I have is no sweet tea at this time. (Suppose to be coming)”

“Food and service was good. They didn't get a 5 star for several reasons. 1) plate was so hot. But the rice was cold except the part touching the plate. 2) The cheese chile relleno same thing the cheese inside was not melted. 3)But the worst for me is to go to a Mexican restaurant and find store bought tortillas instead of freshly made in house.”

“We were in Livingston for the holiday weekend and decided on BBQ for dinner. After Googling different restaurants in the area we saw that this one had great reviews so, although it was a little further away, we decided to give it a try. So glad we did...the ribs were fall-off-the-bone amazing and they have two different sausages, regular and spicy, that were both great! The best thing about it, though, was the level of customer service. Roy certainly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our order, even letting us sample the sausages before we picked what style to order. Awesome food and service- needless to say, we'll definitely be back!”

“From the the start we were greeted and seated very promptly. We recieved our drink order quite fast as well as the usual chips and salsa. Now, it may have been just this night but the sodas seem to be shy of the carbonation and weak on the syrup. Their red salsa is now one of my favorite. We place our orders and it took no time to get it out to us. Now, we did order the pizza for our daughter, she took one bite of it and wouldn't touch it again. Said it tastes weird and sweet... So fyi. Kids eat free on Monday, one per table...though it seems that you have to make them aware of this otherwise they will charge you for that child.”
